"Did you think that you would be able to hide that worthless kid from me back at the training ground? Foolish girl. I was going to kill him, but then decided to do you a favor and kill an innocent. Don't you just love when that happens? Anyway, I hope you have a great day!

Your loving brother,

Shen

Despite it being just a note, you could just hear the sarcasm. You dropped the note as you felt guilt and sadness wash over you. For a few moments, you just stood there, shocked, letting the emotions wrack your body. Pretty soon, the guild and sadness began to morph into another emotion. Rage. "no." you said quietly. "What?" asked Samon. "No." You said, a bit louder. You clenched your hands into fists. "NO" Samon jumped at your sudden outburst. He had never actually heard you raise your voice like this. "HE PROMISED" "Who promised what?!" You could feel your control over your qi gong slip for a second. Despite years of training, high levels of emotion made it difficult to keep control over it. 'and maybe I don't want to control it' you thought to yourself. "HE SAID HE WOULD KILL ANYONE. HE PROMISED. WE MADE A DEAL." "Who? Who made a deal? What did he promise?" Samon's questions fell on deaf ears. You had so many things going through your head. After you had learned what you were doing, you hated hurting others. The only reason you were able to carry out those missions was because you thought it was all pretend. Your mind had made up reasons on why it all felt so real. As you lost more and more control over your qi gong, your senses became more and more sensitive. You could feel every step, every breath, every heartbeat. You could feel Samon and the other guards approaching. Upa had hung back earlier, but now he was coming closer too. You didn't want them to come closer. You felt Upa put and hand on your shoulder. This scared and angered you. You sent out a powerful pulse of qi gong that sent everyone flying back. (I don't really know how to describe this that well, but it's like when a meteor strikes the earth and everything around it gets the shock waves. Except there's none of the destruction and stuff. It just affects people.) You were holding on less and less to your control over your qi gong. You floated up off of the ground, blue flames beginning to form around you. "(y-y/n)" Upa's voice brought you back to reality. You stopped, forcing your qi gong back into its place. Now that you could see something besides the burning white that had taken over your vision, you turned around to see Upa, still on the ground with a scared and confused expression on his face. You realized what you had done. You tried to speak but nothing came out. Instead, you just ran away. After a few seconds, Samon shook off the shock and got back on his feet. "What are you guys doing?!" he shouted at the guards who were still on the ground. "Help me catch her!" With that, Samon, the two guards, and Upa took off after you. You didn't know exactly why you were running. You knew it would solve nothing, but yet here you were. You took a sharp left turn down the unfamiliar halls. Maybe you had been here before, but the adrenaline in your system didn't allow your brain to process it. All you knew now was that you had to run. You could hear them chasing after you. You could hear their shouts for you to stop. You closed your eyes for a second and when you opened them, you weren't in Namba anymore. You were running down the halls of Chénmò de shāshǒu's base. You could hear your opponents chasing you, shouting your name. 'what am I doing again?' you thought to yourself. 'oh right.' You remembered that you were competing in a game your boss had told you to play. The objective was to not get caught by the other team members. It was a really weird game as you were on a team by yourself and the others playing seemed to be really angry for it just to be a game. But you shrugged it off. Boss said it was just a game and so it was just a game. 'they must be really bad sore loosers' you thought as you took a quick glance behind you. There were four people. Those were the ones you were going up against. You could tell because they had on the symbols that Boss said belonged to a rival on the left side of their all black clothes. One lunged at you, trying to grab you. You twisted his arm backwards, dislocating it at the elbow. Boss said to do anything to win so you would do just that. After all, what damage could it do? It was just a game after all. You smiled as you thought of how proud he would be when you told him that you had won. The man whose arm you twisted griped his arm but continued after you. You gave him a quick hit to his temple and he dropped down. You continued running. One of the remaining people called your name again, but his voice was weird. It was like there were two different voices, each fighting to be more dominant. One was the voice of your opponent, the other was the voice of someone that you couldn't quite place. Where had you heard that voice before? You wracked your brain as you took another sharp turn down the dark halls. The person called your name again. This time, the voice didn't sound like your opponent at all. It was a completely different voice. It sounded so familiar. Who was it? "(Y/N)!" Shouted the voice. You looked behind you again. This time, your surroundings wavered, flickering between the dark halls of the base and another, very familiar place. You took another turn. "(Y/N)!" shouted the voice again. You looked back to see that your surroundings were changing. They were morphing into something else. The three people that were chasing you no longer wore all black clothes with your opponents' symbol on them, but some kind of uniform. One wore a blue jumpsuit. You look around and remember where you were. The voice calling out your name was Upa. That guy that you struck down wasn't your 'opponent' in that sick and twisted game that your former boss made you play, it was a guard. You suddenly stopped in your tracts, shaking. The second you stopped, you felt really dizzy. You tried to look at Samon and the others, but they looked like blurry dots. Everything was swirling. Swirling turned to black and before you knew it, you were on the ground.
