Summary: You teach Connor how to play the piano, he suddenly becomes an expert because he practised for you. He takes you to wherever the piano is and plays a song and decides to sing as well, winning you over. + lots of fluff Sorry it took so long, I worked hard to get this done. After 25 pages on Q and 18 pages on Google Docs, I finally completed it.

A/N: I'm just going to say now, if you haven't noticed already, music seems to be a huge part of my life (except I'm pretty trash at playing instruments). So if there's more in the future where music is a key part of the story-line, then yeah, it's because of that. Note: I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE SONGS, ALL CREDIT FOR THE SONGS IS TO THE ARTISTS AND THEIR RECORD LABELS.

        Connor's POV

Connor halted in the middle of the street, he knew he had lost it. The criminal was long gone, lost in a sea of humans and androids alike. He muttered a curse and pulled his beanie lower over his forehead. He waited another moment to let his partner to catch up, he eventually did and the older man stood next to Connor, trying to regain his breath. He gave Connor a lecture before asking where the perpetrator headed off to. Connor simply admitted his failure and more lifeforms swamped around them, trying to get to wherever they were going.

After becoming deviant, he had learned a lot of things. He knew no one was perfect, not even him and he knew that everyone made mistakes. It gave him satisfaction when he did learn from these mistakes, it told him he was becoming more and more human. He stayed with the police force as well and was mostly accepted among his co-workers, despite being deviant. Luckily, he had it good. He was beginning to be treated more equally to his human counterparts and now had a steady income. Hank had also let him into his home with somewhat open arms, it was one of his more kind gestures. Connor was grateful, as he knew other androids weren't as fortunate as him. He hoped one day, that they would be. Markus and his associates had worked hard for their people's freedom and Connor had made his contribution, after being pushed over the brink of deviation. Now, he saw the world in an entirely new light, he could finally discover things for himself, without having to report to Amanda or CyberLife. He was free. His mind was clear, thoughts were now his. Priorities was anything he decided was important and sometimes those decisions were hard. Having all these choices were new and confusing, he was sure he'd figure them out, even if it took him longer than anticipated. Hank looked at him, part irritated, part concerned. He clicked his fingers in close proximity to Connor's optical units and Connor found himself back in the present, not delved into the deepest parts of his memory.

"Pfft, yeah. Earth to Connor," Hank said, the whole sentence was coated in a layer of sarcasm which Connor ignored. The police lieutenant continued to speak but Connor was having none of it, he was focused on something different. He had picked up something on his audio processors and it was coming from further down the street. It definitely wasn't the criminal causing more havoc, in fact it was the complete opposite. The sound he had picked up was a beautiful combination of notes and pitches with steady chords and a hypnotising melody. Connor walked closer to where the music seemed to be originating. Hank called after Connor but he didn't respond, so the lieutenant gave up and went to find his car.
