[DISCLAIMER]: I don't own this beautiful fanart. All credit goes to the amazing artist who did this. It fitted so well with the story that I couldn't just not put it on here.

Why yes, I have finally returned. This one is going to be so random but hey, my brain beckoned me to do it. So I'm treating you all with this horror that I created (lemme know if it wasn't as stupid of a story as I thought). This is more of a tie over story before I finish the next one that I have been working on (if I finish). I also left a couple of 'Easter eggs' in this story, connecting it with another one in this book (Comment if you find them! It was heaps of fun chucking them into this story!) I'm also doing a part two because in between part one of this and part two, I'll post a Valentine's day special connected to this story. Yeah, I'm so unorganised. Anyway, I'm not even going to bother to rant too much this time so you're welcome babes x

A taxi drove over a speed-bump, a little faster than the speed limit told it to. You jolted forward and vigorously spat a curse. Couldn't this driver take even the slightest precautions? You concluded not as you slammed back into your seat. Frustrated, you pulled your phone out of your pocket and messaged Connor, who you had no doubt, was waiting at home for you. You knew what that felt like, there was more than one time that you were left at home twiddling your thumbs. You breathed out deeply when you sent the message, almost getting an immediate response:

(Y/N)

Be home soon, stupid taxi decided to take unnecessary detour 😠 Srry to keep u waiting x

Babe (ICE) 💙

It's okay. Your dinner got cold and it feels kind of empty here at home... Anyway, Markus was on the news again.

(Y/N)

Rlly? What's it about this time? Something legendary I bet.

Babe (ICE) 💙

He finally got that treaty signed.

(Y/N)

Wait, u mean: humans, androids peace and harmony for the rest of the world, thing?

Of course Markus was still working hard, almost four years after the android revolution. You kind of remember something about the treaty being mentioned, though your explaining skills were terrible at this time of the day. You emitted a loud yawn, you were far too tired for thinking and just wanted to be home with Connor. The phone buzzed in your hand again, another notification from him.

Babe (ICE) 💙

Yeah. It nearly took up the whole news hour. I almost didn't get to see the weather.

(Y/N)

Lol, I'm a few blocks away. Hold on xx

Babe (ICE) 💙

I'll be waiting...

You hated when he was like this, even through text you knew he was unhappy. It wasn't just the obvious things, but you could feel it. Some intuition you always had ever since your relationship with him kicked off. You also knew when he was down, he got clingy. Which wasn't always a bad thing, you actually enjoyed the affection most days. But for some reason you had this feeling he'd be over the 'sad mood' thing soon enough. After all, you were married to him. You had shared so much together in your relationship and you were both better for it. You couldn't wait to get back home to him again. He was your love, your other half, the piece that completed the puzzle that was your life. You would do anything for him and he would do anything for you. Both of you were a perfect team, despite your small differences. But that never mattered to either of you, Connor accepted you for all your flaws and you welcomed his utter faultlessness. Zoning out, you drifted off into your imagination as the taxi more or less 'drove' you home.
