"You need to get up!" Aurora prodded at the figure in the bed beside her.

Nathan mumbled something incoherent.

"You're useless." Aurora sipped her coffee, before getting an idea. Leaning over, she ran her hands through his hair before lightly kissing his cheek. "If you hurry up, you can join me in the shower."

Jumping up, she walked over to the bathroom, Nathan hot on her heels.

Walking outside, Aurora smiled as the staff milled about, setting up food tables and drink trays.

It was the Romano summer ball, for friends and family and Aurora was beyond excited. It was early August and Aurora fully planned on partying throughout the rest of the summer and into autumn.

"Hey! Where have you all been?" Aurora turned around to see Mat, Sam and Nathan behind her.

"Mrs Romano," Nathan walked beside her, "you are looking at the head of attack," Nathan gestured to Mateo, "and the head of defence of the Romano Mafia," Nathan then gestured to Samuel.

"That's great. Congratulations!" Aurora smiled brightly before pulling a sad face, "You guys are all grown up."

Reapplying some mascara, Aurora nearly poked herself in the eye as she heard screaming.

Running as quickly as possible in heels she ran from the lounge into the hallway at the same time as Nathan ran from his office.

"What, what, what? What happened?" Aurora cried spotting Izzy on the floor by the door.

Looking over she saw Nathan with his gun out, running towards his sister.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Nathan stood over his sister as Aurora sunk to her knees beside Izzy.

"I got in! They've accepted me! And look, I've got two 8's!" Izzy was staring at the letter in her hands.

Aurora let out a huge breathe, resting her head on Izzy's shoulder.

"Don't do that again," Nathan huffed, putting his gun away.

As Aurora clambered to her feet the doorbell rang. Opening the door, she was nearly knocked over again as a bundle of blonde was flung at her.

"I'm a genius! A certified genius!"

Aurora tried to regain her balance whilst clinging onto her sister for dear life.
