"Are you sure you want to do this Miss Y/N? With all due respect, you don't seem like the kind of girl that would just up and drop out like this. Especially for something you worked so hard for," Principal Nezu reasons. You simply nod, keeping your teary eyes downcast. It's for the best anyways. Even if the cruel things that those kids had said weren't true, they still hurt, and you can't force yourself to deal with it anymore.
"Well, alright dear. If this is what you think is best, I'll have the papers sent to your dormitory." You stand, nodding again stiffly. Right as you reach the door, you turn to look him in the eyes. "Thank you for the opportunity, Principal Nezu. I'm sorry for wasting your time." Then, the door closes and you're on your own again.
You keep your head down as you walk to your room. Anything to keep from being recognized as the first year with the horrific, villainous quirk. You've gotten stares for the small horns poking from your forehead, you've gotten picked on for the pointy tail that pokes from beneath your skirt, but nothing amounts to what you have received at Yuuei. The nations' most prestigious school for up and coming heroes.
What a joke.

"You let her do what now?!" Aizawl slams his hands onto the desk in the conference room, glaring daggers at the hybrid in front of him. "She said she wanted to drop out, so I said I would send her the papers. It is not official yet, if that's what you're thinking." Principal Nezu sips calmly at his Jasmine Tea, seemingly unfazed by the angry man in front of him.
"Why would she want to drop out?" That's when Nezu sets down his cup. "Well, she said Yuuei just wasn't a place for her anymore, but I think you and I both know better. There's obviously something going on that we don't know about it. Something that you may be familiar with, Eraserhead." Aizawa just crosses his arms and shakes his head. "Why am I here then?"
"Well, I was hoping you could get her to change her mind! She looks up to you quite a lot, I've noticed. If you are convincing enough, she may even stay!" Aizawa scowls, but he nods. "Okay. Do you know where she might be?" "Check her dorms, she's probably waiting for the documents."

You're stuffing the last of your things in your suitcase when you hear three loud knocks on your door. When you open it, you're face to face with your home room teacher. The sight causes you to jump back a few feet, and immediately you start to stammer. "M-Mr. Aizawa! What do you need?"
He cuts to the chase, walking in and shutting the door behind him. "I heard you were dropping out." How did he- You cough, adverting your eyes to the side. "Ah, yes. I- um, I am." He sighs, sitting at the edge of your bed, hands clasped together. Hesitantly, you sit beside him. "Care to tell me why?" No. "Oh-well, I guess Yuuei just isn't the place for me anymore? I thought I wanted to be a hero- but- I uh... I didn't." Mentally you cross your fingers, hoping he doesn't see right through you.
But of course he does.
"You're lying. I was in your position once too, Y/N. Luckily, I had a friend like Mic to stop me from getting to the Principal." His statement shocks you, and you bring a hand to your mouth. "Yeah. I assume you're getting bad remarks about your quirk, right?" "How did you-" "It's not hard to tell. Like I said, I was in your shoes once. But you have me on your side. I can help you. That's what I'm here for."
"No, you don't underst-" "But I do, Y/N. Your quirk is valuable, no matter how it looks. It would be illogical to drop out because of bullying over something you can't change." He sets a hand on your shoulder. "Besides, whoever is saying crap about you, I can make sure they're dealt with. You're a good student, Y/N. You make Yuuei better."
A flood of emotions rush over you, and soon you find yourself crying in the hesitant arms of your teacher. He's stiff, and you can tell he's not used to students crying on him, but it warms your heart when he embraces you back anyways.
After your tears have dried, you look up at your teacher with a shaky smile. "Thank you, Mr. Aizawa. I should probably tell Principal Nezu I'm not dropping out."
"Already taken care of."

Bonus! Yuuei Graduation Speech!
You stand at the podium, a large smile on your face as you look out over the huge crowd. In the far corner, you can see Aizawa, smirking up at you with his usual grin. You're nervous, but you feel confident enough to deliver your final speech. You take a deep breath.
"Honestly, there is one person here today that I owe all of this to. And that is my home room teacher, Mr. Aizawa." Immediately, heads turn towards him, but he's staring up at you in shock. "He was...so amazingly kind to me. And even when he was strict-he never failed to push me to my limits so that I could become the best hero I can be." His smile grows wider, and when you squint you can see the glimmer of a tear in his eye. "And...there was a time that I was thinking about dropping out and leaving Yuuei altogether, but I didn't. And it's all because of him. Thank you, Eraserhead. Thank you for being the best hero, teacher and father figure that I could ever ask for."
