I couldn't help but wonder who this new guy was. I think it was his truck.

Sunday,after church, I went to the store with my parents to get food. I always go with the, so they actually but good food. And not just a bunch of healthy stuff. I mean come on we live in the country. We need to eat good home cooked meals. The good thing is normally in the winter, we get enough food to last us throughout the year. Well enough deer to last the year. We just get the rest of our meat from the neighbors. At the store we get things like cereal and poptarts and candy. I sort of make my parents get that stuff. Without me they get things like apples and fruit. I mean, seriously, who even wants that stuff.

We were in the aisle with all of the cereals, when I hear someone say hi. I look over and see that new guy standing a few feet away.

"Hi." I say, and glance at my parents. My dad winks at me,and walks to another aisle with my mom.

"I never got your name."

"Oh,yeah. It's Lisa."

"That's a very beautiful name Lisa. My name is Lucus. Or Luke is what everybody else calls me." He said with a smile.

Okay. This is weird. Luke is very attractive and he's giving me butterflies. No one has ever given me butterflies since mark.

"Thank you."

We end up talking for about an hour. My dad comes to her after they've been waiting in the car for a while.

"Oh sorry dad." I say and turn to Luke," bye luke."

"I'll see you Tomorrow won't I ?"

"Tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yeah. School."

"Oh. Right. Yeah. Are you a senior too?" wow. I felt really stupid at the moment.

"Yes I am."

"Oh. Well. I'll see you." I said as I waved goodbye.

When we got in the car, mom and dad drilled me with questions. The thing is I didn't even know the answers to them.
