"Hey, are you okay!!" Luke sort of yelled jumping out of his truck, looking very concerned.
I just kinda waved him off. I don't need him and I definitely don't want him seeing me like this.
"I'm not leaving you like this, I don't care how much you try to push me away." he said stubbornly, when he noticed the look on my face. Jeez, what is wrong with this guy!!!
He must have noticed the anger forming on my face because before I even say anything, he says with sadness written all over his face,
"And I'm not stupid. When a girl tells you to go away, or to leave her alone, you don't listen to her. You stay there by her side and help her out no matter what, otherwise they might just disappear into thin air before you know it. " and before I could say anything to THAT, he takes off his shirt, wiped my face and wraps me in his arms and whispers," I may not know you that well yet, but I'm not going anywhere, and I'm not Ganna lose you."
"You sound like you have some experience with that." I said sort of bitterly, thinking about him with another girl. But apologized as soon as I said it, cause look at me, I'm still depressed about Mark.
"Not in the way you are thinking. come to my house with me and we can clean you up and if I find the strength and courage, I might just tell you a story. And I didn't lose just one person, I lose two."
He looked so sad and concerned when he looked at me, I just agreed.
