"Hey, do you want me to come over after school and we can discuss this whole project thing?" Luke asked.
"Umm..." I kinda stuttered... I didn't know what to say. I wanted to say yes,but it would be better if I didn't. I know someone who would know the answer to that. Even if it wasn't that long ago I went to see him.
"Unm... sorry, but I'm going to see Mark today." I said hurriedly, making up my mind.
"Oh okay." he said. and I couldn't help but see the disappointment in his eyes. I'm not sure if he knows the whole Mark story but he will find out soon enough.
I try to avoid luke as much as possible the rest of the day. But it's pretty much unavoidable. Ugh, I guess I'll let him come over today. I can't stand feeling guilty any longer.
