Dark or Light

Chapter 10 - How it all began

My wife's name is Rose. Many centuries ago, Rose was God's special guardian angel warriors. He had sent her out to battle to me. Rose and I had fought face-to-face in a battle field of guardians and my knights. One of my knights had hurt Rose so badly.

A part of me told me to save her but the other part told me not to. I went with the choice of saving Rose and took her back to my kingdom to save her. I had my knights back off the guardians and protect my kingdom so I could save Rose.

Over the time and years of Rose recovering, we got along and she became love of my life. Weird huh? Satan falling in love with God's guardians after she had tried to kill me? We fell in love but God didn't allow it, and banish her from the gates of heaven forever. She became a fallen angel. Rose had lost her wings, armor, honor, and home.

I had taken her in my kingdom and gave her everything. New bigger and stronger wings, new home to live in, honor of being a leader of my knights, but she didn't want all that. She wanted from me was my love, my happiness, and my kindness. She became the light in my world.

I ask for her hand in marriage but she rejected me, and told me I had to prove it. That's when I had adopted Legna, my beautiful mortal princess. I took care of Legna as if she was my own, I treated her as if she was my own, and I loved her as if she was my own. Rose had became my wife and queen of the underworld with me. Rose had named Legna because it spell angel backwards. Legna is our little angel.

Of course, Legna had to have a friend so I've created Knight. A protector for only Legna but he had taken all of my sinister from me. It doesn't mean his my son though. That's just wrong. He was to ONLY protect her. Knight had my strongest dark side in him but soon he develop his own personality. He soon learn to care for and show affection on his own, which was quite odd but interesting.

Legna and Knight grew up together, but there was a prince name Mark. Another friend she grew up with. My daughter had taken the hearts of every men, even Knight's which I don't know how it was possible. Knight soon fell in love with her with his own will but naturally. But Mark...Mark had made Legna happier than Knight could.

Rose and I watch over the three. As Knight grew older and stop aging and growing at the age of 17, he couldn't control his anger and jealously over Mark. Legna has been with Mark more than she had been with Knight. I should've stop it...I should've stop Knight. He had tried to kill Mark but ended up killing Legna.

Soon after he had kill Legna and Mark kill himself, I erase the memory of Knight of me and Rose. He would have to live with himself forever knowing he had kill my princess and that was his punishment. As Knight had live throughout the centuries, he had never set eyes on any other woman nor care about any other woman. I place Knight onto the human world to see if he could love someone else, but he couldn't.

My wife and I search through the realms of lost souls to find Legna for Knight. We found Legna's soul and brought her back to the kingdom to reincarnate, and we did. She grew up as a human and lead to a normal life. We move to where I place Knight so she could meet him and she did. Knight is still lost and dark in his own mind, and doesn't believe she's here. His heart knows it's her but his mind doesn't. Knight just needs to accept the fact she's back. Sigh.

Mark. He holds the light of the world while Knight holds the darkness of the world. I don't know how Mark came back but if what Rose said is true, then this is going to be interesting. Mark is breaking the laws and balance of the world if he came back himself. It's weird on how strong his love is for her that he's able to come back with his will.
