We sit there and kiss for a few moments until there is a loud noise which comes from an the maze. We both pull back.
"What was that?" I say shocked slightly
️Newt looks over towards the maze
"We have to go" he says
"Why?"
️Newt gets up and grabs my hand, I get up as well and we walk towards the homestead.
"What's going on?" I ask shocked
"the doors didn't close"
I'm in shock did he really just say what I think he said. We walk closer towards the homestead and I can see a large group of gladers standing around. Newt lets go of my hand just before we reach the galders.
"What the hell is going on?" Yells Alby while walking towards Newt.
"I have no idea but all I know is we need to get everyone inside before those bloody grivers turn up"
"Yea we gotta get everyone inside"
"What's going on?" Shouts one of the gladers
"Why aren't the bloody doors closing" shouts another
"It's cause of that girl" next thing I know all of them are shouting at each other.
*whistle* "shut it all of ya" shouts Minho which makes everyone shut up.
"We need to get everyone inside the homestead now" Alby yells which makes everyone go inside. I try to find newt in the big crowd of people but I can't spot him, I feel somebody grabs my hand I turn around ready to slap the person but then I see its Newt.
"I'm here, always" he says which makes me feel happy inside, I smile then continue to walk up the stairs. There is another loud noise but this time it sounds like an animal.
"There here" someone says as we get into the large room at the top of the stairs, the windows already have wooden planks over them. we all get in and kneel down on the ground in the dark room.
"Nobody make a sound" Alby says in a quiet voice, I can feel my heart pounding in my chest I haven't met these creatures and I don't want to.
We all sit in the dark room quietly, newts hand is still wrapped around mine. I look around and can see Teresa and Thomas on the other side looking just as scared as everyone else. There is another loud noise but this time it seems closer.
"Someone help me!!!" Shouts somebody from outside "please help me" I can hear the boy running then a scream, then silence.
We sit there all with fear in our faces then we hear a sound which seams robotic

*click*
It seems like the sound is just outside, I hope it's not.
I look at the window with shock through the gabs of the wood I see a giant bug with robot features it's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen
