I'm so fucking sorry :( Dedication at the end.

It had to be a rainy Thursday morning that Tony Stark rolled over in his double bed, looked at the warm body lying next to him and decided that he was in love. Tony didn’t know what day it was, but it always seemed to rain on Thursdays, because the best things happen on Thursday, only the happiest of bittersweet people fall in love on Thursday's so it must have been a Thursday he decided before pressing a small butterfly kiss to Steve's cheekbone and slipping himself out of bed.

Tony chuckled to himself as he heard Steve groan, hearing his lover flopping around the bed until Steve got comfortable again in the warm spot that he had just vacated, on his stomach with his face buried in Tony's pillow. Tony smiled once more at the sheer adorableness before taking a quick shower, scrubbing around the arc reactor carefully with Steve's lemon and apple body wash. Steve's scent enveloped him as he walked out the bathroom, scrubbing a towel through his unruly hair.

Steve was still lying in the bed and with a wicked smirk Tony padded over and rolled a plaint Steve onto his back, straddling him and rocking their hips together sinuously. Steve groaned fisting at the bed sheets, pulling at them with white clenched fists and with a unmanly giggle Tony dropped the sopping wet, cold towel on Steve and rolled away from him, laughing his head off and Steve screeched, shooting bolt upright and throwing the wet towel off him.

"I'll get you for that!" Steve growled at him, playfully rolling himself on top of Tony and pinning his wrists above his head. Tony shook his head squirming, hands trying to reach down to his face and cover the tears of mirth that were spilling from the corners of his laugh creased eyes.

Tony hiccupped, his breath catching in his throat and for one awful moment it felt like everything was ending. "I love you!" he blurted out in fear and Steve's eyes widened, his body going lax and he looked at him in shock.

"What?!" Steve let out a strangled word and Tony shook his head, slipping his hands from under Steve's now relaxed hands and letting them cover his mouth.

Steve frowned at him, removing Tony's hands from his face and leant down and kissed his square on the lips. Tony lay there, confused as Steve kissed him slowly and when he pulled back Steve just smiled at him, rolling of him and lying next to him. They lay there in silence, Tony's thudding heart the loudest thing kin the room before Steve spoke to the ceiling, not looking at Tony.

"Thank you," Steve murmured simply, his big hand sneaking between them to squeeze Tony's. "I know that that was hard for you to say and I just…thank you so much," Steve said earnestly rolling over to his side and kissing Tony on his temple. "And just for the record, I love you too. So much" Steve whispered, lifting himself up so that he hovered over Tony and pressed one final kiss to Tony's lips before flopping back down on the bed and going back to sleep.

Tony stared incredulously at his boyfriend before huffing, letting all the air that he'd kept pent up in himself out and flopped down next to Steve. He checked his phone once, sending a quick message to Pepper about missing all of today's meetings before putting it down and snuggling up to Steve, putting his head on the soldiers shoulder and closing his eyes once more, feeling content.

"I think that you should marry him," Tony leaned back in his seat, balancing it on two legs and swinging dangerously as Pepper blushed in front of him. "Why are you blushing Miss Potts?" he teased and Pepper glared at him, hooking the toe of her heels on the chair's bar and bringing all legs crashing down to the floor.

She smirked at him. "Well, Mr Stark don’t you think it’s inappropriate to question your workers about their personal lives?" She asked, her eyes sparkling and he stuck his tongue out at her, masking her giggle delicately behind her hand.
