Paradise Falls

“Pack your bags babe; we’re taking a vacation to paradise!” Tony waltzed into Steve’s studio and smiled winningly at his husband. Steve sighed and put down his paintbrush and span around looking at Tony despairingly.

“Is that really a good idea?”

“Yes, every idea of mine is a good idea,” Tony sang before walking over the floor and straddling Steve’s lap, placing his knees either side of Steve’s thighs. “Mainly because I’m a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.”

“Playboy?” Steve raised his eyebrow and squinted up at his husband, “Thought you dropped that title when you married me.”

Tony shrugged and pecked Steve on the lips “And I love you so much,” He said soberly and Steve laughed nodding. “Come on babe, it’ll be fun, you,” He pointed at Steve. “And me,” he pointed at himself. “Sun, sea and sand. What’s wrong with that?” Tony wiggled his hips sexily and bit his lower lip.

“Okay,” Steve agreed before making grabby hands at Tony.

“Okay, Peter remember that we’re only a phone call away and that your father has his suit on him so we’ll be here quickly, half-an-hour tops,” Steve frowned as his son rolled his eyes at him.

“Dad, relax. I’m seventeen nothing’s going to happen; you don’t have to worry about me seriously.” Peter shrugged, half amused and half exasperated with his parents worrying.

“Yeah, but I’m your Dad, it’s my job to be worried about you,” Steve responded with the same line that he always did, it sounding more and more fake and rehearsed every time.

“I know,” Peter patted Steve’s arm reassuringly. “I promise that I won’t throw any wild parties and that I will listen to everyone and do what I’m told.” Peter told Steve dutifully and a huge load of weight removed itself from Steve’s shoulders.

“Thanks,” Steve smiled down at Peter and wrapped an arm around his shoulders, squeezing the smaller man close. “Now we just have to wait for your father to get ready, he’s already late.” Steve whispered dramatically and laughed as Tony appeared at the end of the corridor, shooting him a dead-pan look.

“Oh, it’s okay to just laugh at my expense,” Tony huffed and dropped his case on the floor with a crash and crossed his arms across his chest and glared at the two of them.

Steve pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed with fond exasperation. “How many times have I told you not to drop your things on the floor?”

Ignoring his husband Tony turned to his son and wrapped his arms around him, hugging Peter close and then drawing back so that he could press a kiss to Peter’s forehead. “Be good, listen to the others and please don’t do anything stupid,”

Peter interjected before his father could go on any further. “What do you mean ‘do anything stupid’? Wade’s not stupid!”

Tony smirked at his son and rolled his eyes, “I was actually talking about Spiderman stunts, but yeah that too!” and jumped to the side to avoid Peters squawk and punch of rage.
