Zelda was inside Link's cottage, sitting on the couch while waiting for everyone who was preparing for the trip. All she had were the clothes on her back. Letting out a sigh of boredom, she heard someone approaching her. Looking up, she saw it was the oldest of the twins. "Charlene?" She wore a light blue long sleeved tunic with a white fur collar. The sleeves were on the fluffy side to keep warm. Her pants matched her hair color.
Charlene held out a navy blue sweater cardigan. "Take this. Where we're heading is cold."
"Thank you so much." Zelda took the sweater cardigan, proceeding to put it on. It complemented her dress that she magically changed into. "The material feels really nice."
"It does. My brother made it for me on our last birthday."
"Charles can make clothes?!"
"And cook as well. He was around our mother a lot."
"That's amazing." Zelda noticed a a sword and a peculiar orange shield on Charlene's back. "Those are nice looking weapons you have. Are those specialized?"
"These are relics where I come from. I bore a crest from my bloodline while Charles does not. My father often trained me since I had potential with a sword. My brother struggled with a sword, and felt like our father wasn't proud of him for it. So he decided to pursue magic instead."
"Did he learn magic from your mother?"
"Our mother was also advanced in swordsmanship. Charles wanted to go into something different to make our parents proud. Our mother supported him, but as for my father-"
"Can you not tell her my whole life story?" Charles came up from behind Charlene, obviously annoyed. He was wearing a black mage cloak. "It's none of her concern anyway."
"I was only trying to be friendly with our new companion."
"Still, it's not her business or in her interest to get to know me." Charles turned away with his arms crossed. "If you want to be friends with her, fine. But I'm not going to associate with her by any means."
Charlene let out a sigh, almost like she was receiving secondhand embarrassment from Charles's behavior. "I apologize for my twin brother. He has a sharp tongue, but he means well."
"It's all good." Zelda responded. She remembered having classmates who were twins, and they often acted the same. But these two were polar opposites, a bit surprising in her perspective.
"We're just about ready to go!" Hearing Neji's voice, Zelda stood up from the couch. He was still wearing the same brown cloak from earlier, but he had a sword on his back. He was carrying a bag that was overstuffed. "And I packed some snacks!"
Zelda was surprised the bag didn't break or rip with whatever was stuffed inside. "I think you're under exaggerating some, Neji."
Beside Neji was Link who wasn't dressed as the Mad Hatter anymore. He wore a light blue tunic with a dark blue cloak, beige pants and brown buckled boots. The sword he carried on his back had a purple cross guard that looked similar to bird wings. Everyone had the look to kill except Zelda who looked like she was thrown into an unusual situation. Which basically happened.
Link took out a map from his pocket, walking towards Zelda to show it to her. "The first place we have to walk through is Zora's Domain. It's where the Zora people live, it's like a paradise."
"What are Zora people?"
"They're aquatic people."
"Aquatic as in... Fish?" Zelda couldn't help but think of the fish from her dream she had a while back.
"Correct. It'll be a breeze going through there. And who knows, we might find more information about this Skull Kid."
"Since we're all going on a journey together," Neji chimed. "Why don't we name our party?"
"A group name..?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah! I was thinking we should be called the Teen Titans!"
"Uh... I'm pretty sure that's taken already. Besides, I'm not a teen and I assume Link isn't one either."
"I'm 21 about to become 22." Link answered.
"We're the same age, that's cool."
Neji was thinking to himself. "Then how about... The Azure Wolves?"
"That's a good name." Link commented. "Is it because we're all wearing something blue?"
"Your guess is correct!"
Link turned towards the rest of the group. "Do the three of you agree with our group name?"
"I don't mind the name." Charlene answered. "It reminds me somewhat of home."
"I don't get why we had to come up with a name in the first place." Charles answered. "But I guess it's alright."
Link turned towards Zelda with a smug smile, awaiting her response. "And you, Alice?"
Zelda just shrugged. "There's no arguments here."
"Alright, Azure Wolves." Link announced while sounding proud. "Our destination is the Mask Grotto to get our answer about the Skull Kid. Even though we will be crossing the safe zones, you'll never know what will happen. So everyone... Be on guard."
Neji and the twins nodded seriously at Link's statement. Zelda eyed everyone who had obvious advanced fighting skills. If they did end up encountering an enemy, she wouldn't know how she would defend herself. She wasn't sure what this journey had in store or how it would benefit her. All Zelda had to do was follow these people in this strange world.
