I hope i have made the right choice

We stood there in eachothers arms for at least ten minutes. When we pulled away we sat down on the bench and huddled together not saying a word just enjoying eachothers company.

After what felt like forever I pulled I'm up. He gave me a questioning look.

"I want to go home. I'm cold."

He stood up and linked his hand with mine. We walked in a comfortable silence all the way to my house.

When we got back I knocked on the door and Callie opened it.

"Oh hi Connor." She smiled

"Hi. I guess we have no hard feelings?" He said cautiously.

"No, me and Ruby have made up too"

I pulled him past her and up the stairs.

I turned the TV on in my room and laid on my bed. I patted the blanket and he laid down too.

We started watching reruns of Friends.

"I want a Starbucks." I randomly said.

"Is there one near here?" He turned to face me.

"Yeah just down the road."

When we got into Starbucks, Connor went up to order and I sat down. That's when I saw her, Jess. And she was holding hands with someone. Not Austin but an attractive blonde haired boy. When she walked in I shouted her over.

As soon as she saw me she dropped his hand and walked over.

"Hi how are you?" She said.

"I'm good thanks. Now anyway."

"I left as well I was only staying for last night because I had to.. Ummm"

That's when Connor walked back with our drinks.

"Hey Jess!" He said hugging her.

"Hi Connor!" She said.

"I need the toilet. I'll be back in a minute." She said and walked off.

I walked quickly after her.

"Care to explain who that was?" I say.

"Urr he's Mikey he's my .. Urrr.. Friend."

"Your lying. Tell me the truth."

"She looked away.

" Oh no. Don't tell me you're chea-"

"Yes I'm cheating on Austin!" She said quickly.

"Oh my god Jess!" I whisper yell. "Why?"

"Because he's always away!"

"You need to tell him!"

"I know!"

"We need to go back they're going to suspect something." I say.

When we got back out Mikey and Connor were deep in conversation.

We sat down and drank our drinks. I really liked Mikey he seemed really nice. When we were saying goodbye, we all swapped numbers.

When me and Connor got home, I felt my phone vibrate.

Brad:
I gave Mina your number. She wants to get to know you better.
You will get a message through soon. I assume everything is alright with Connor? See you soon ;) xxx

Unknown number:
Hey its Mina, brads girlfriend. Brad gave me your number. We should hangout soon! When are you next free? Xx

I replied to Brad first.

To Brad:
Hiya everything is alright with Connor we are still together! YAY!
Why will you see me soon? Confuzzled over here xxx

To Mina:
Hiya I'm free whenever! Would love to hangout! Xxx

I then received two messages.

From Jess:
Hiya I just broke up with Austin.

From Brad:
Don't worry ;)

I replied to Jess.

To Jess:
Aww Im sorry was it worth it? X

It wasn't long until I got a reply.

From Jess:
I don't know yet to be honest. Hopefully it was the right choice. X

To Jess:
Hopefully :)
