It was 6:00 AM in the morning, Miles just arrived at the parking lot of the prosecutor's office.

I was about a kilometer away from the entrance of the building, but I can see it clearly from where I'm parked.

After locking my car, my gaze turned to the entrance that I walk into every single day.

I see a very particular brown-haired woman, with her usual clothing, running in the entrance. She stopped for a bit to greet the guard by the doors.

Afterward, she proceeded to run toward what I would guess was the elevator.

Why is she such in a hurry?

Angela running in such a hurry brought even a slight smile to Edgeworth's face.

It's actually quite funny... or even cu—

what am I even thinking about,

this is strange and slightly creepy of me.

Edgeworth continued trekking toward the entrance.

When he was by the doors, the guard welcomed him.

He said nothing and just gave a slight nod, face still as blank as ever.

Miles got out of the elevator and took off directly to his office.

He opened the door and saw his secretary sitting on his couch, holding a cup of coffee with her face, and thoughts buried beneath a book.

So focused, that she didn't even hear her boss enter the office.

"Ms. Peregrine." Edgeworth immediately spoke as he closed the door behind him.

Are you kidding me?

Still receiving no reply from his secretary,

*coughs* "Ms. Peregrine." Edgeworth called out with his common tone again.

Who does she think she is? I'm her boss.

Still, Angela's eyes were focused on the book she was reading.

Edgeworth's forbearance was running insufficient...

"MS. PEREGRINE!" He wailed.

Angela jumped as coffee particles plummeted along with her.

"OUCH!" Angela yelled in pain, she spilled some of her burning coffee on herself.

The book she was reading instantly flew out of her hand.
