Upon arriving at the court house, Angela was quick to take glances everywhere.

It's been a few years since I last visited this courthouse.

Yet minimal has changed.

Angela stopped walking when Edgeworth abruptly stopped walking as well.

Her boss was in the middle of a blatant staredown with another guy.

His hair was pointy, and he wore a blue suit. Behind him was the defendant, Maya Fey.

I looked at Edgeworth and the blue suited guy, wondering what was going to go down.

"Edgeworth." The guy in the blue suit spoke, it was in this tone of familiarity.

Do they know each other?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Ms. Fey was thinking the same thing.

"Wright." Miles spoke with resentment wrapped in his voice. It felt colder than when he talks to Angela, if that may even seem possible.

Angela's eyes opened wider.

For a moment, they just stared at each other. The 'Wright' guy had a softer glare though, like one with concern, Edgeworth's, on the other hand, was absolutely bitter and intense.

There were long seconds of silence. It was getting really uncomfortable for Angela and the defendant.

The two looked at each other in confusion, wondering what the heck is going on between Edgeworth and Wright.

*fake coughs* "Phoenix!" Maya called out in a whispering tone.

And it was like Phoenix snapped back to reality, and so did Edgeworth.

"You two know each other?" Maya asked.

A question to which Phoenix stayed silent. Edgeworth, on the other hand, just walked to the direction of the Prosecutor's lobby.

Angela was obligated to follow, after all, he is her boss.

Phoenix spoke to Maya for a second, then he too walked away toward the defendant's lobby, Maya following behind him.

Angela glanced back, and at the same time, Maya peeked back too.

Angela just raised her shoulders implying that she doesn't know what just went down.

Maya too did the same thing.

As one would say, you can't tell one is guilty or not guilty without evidence or proof.

However something in me,

A sensation in my chest...
