Veronica and Yasmine where sipping their lattes and talking when Betty arrived. Betty informed the two girls that she had found Polly but the predicament that she was currently faced with. Veronica instantly stepped in and offered to talk to her mom to see if Polly could stay with them. The three girls, more like two since Yasmine was still silently processing the whole pregnant Polly thing, were interrupted when Cheryl butted in. Cheryl and Betty excused themselves to talk in private and Yasmine offered the rest of her latte to Veronica. "That lump in my throat is back V. I think I'm just going to head to class."

Yasmine got up and left for class but stopped at the bathroom on the way. Her stress and depression has made the girl so nauseous that she lost the breakfast she had choked down earlier that morning. Looking at herself in the mirror Yasmine could see the bags under her eyes from the nights of lost sleep. Pulling the make up from her bag she perfectly applied it to hide away the struggles she was facing before heading to class. For most of the day she stayed clear of everyone.

On the way home she walked with Jughead and Archie who decided to stop by Andrew's Construction. She was sitting with Jughead on the couch curled up as she watched Archie bounce a tennis ball off the wall. As the two dads entered the trailer the three teens turned to look at them. "Oh, how was your first day back?" Jughead asked and Yasmine smiled slightly at FP proud that he was at least trying to get back on his feet. "Oh, it was great. Your dad is the hardest-working guy on the crew, as always." Fred answers and they walked passed. FP tossed his hard hat at Jughead as he chuckled. "And who is this sweetheart? This your girlfriend Jughead?" Fred asked with a sly smile. "No sir. I'm pretty sure I'm not exactly Jugs type. I'm Yasmine, I'm a neighbor of the Jones'." the girl corrected with a smile. "Neighbor, family. All the same." FP stated and Yasmine shook her head knowing exactly what his comment meant. "Well why don't you guys go have a nice dinner at Pop's to celebrate this occasion?" she suggested as she stood up. "Yeah we were just talking about that." Archie agreed as Yasmine began to head for the door not wanting to intrude. "See you guys at school. Catch you later Mr. Andrwes. Keep up the good work Mr. Jones." the girl waved at the guys as FP called after her to get home safely. Like he needed to say that, Yasmine always got home safely but that also just made her realize that Archie now knows that she lives at the trailer park too.

**POV Yasmine**

The next morning Jughead and I walked to school together and he filled me in on what happened after I left. We talked all the way to the Blue and Gold room where we stopped talking as we see Sheriff Keller and Principle Weatherbee.  Jughead set his things down as he said 'hey'? to them as they stood in front of his recreated murder board. "Uh, what's up?" Jughead asked looking unsure. "I'm going to need you to come down to the station with me. Both of you." I glanced at the murder board and noticed that, due to my relationship with Jason, Jughead had added me to it.

Sheriff Keller led the way out of the Blue and Gold room. Jughead followed after him looking down and I was right after him with Principle Weatherbee behind me.  Jughead looked up as we were passing Archie's locker where Archie was standing with Betty. "Call my dad," Jughead told him quickly as he passed. "Yeah, yeah we will," Archie replied at the same time as Betty replied, "Of course."

Jughead and I were escorted out to the Sheriff's car and taken down to the station. We were placed into seperate rooms for questioning and I had a feeling they started with Jughead first since I was sitting in a room all by myself. What felt like an hour later the door opened causing me to jump. "Sorry to startle you Ms. DeSantos." Sheriff Keller apologised as he sat down holding two files in his hand.

I sat back in my chair crossing my arms, chewing on my lip. "Ms. DeSantos, why didn't you inform us of your relationship with Jason Blossom?" Sheriff Keller asked me folding his hand over the files. "There wasn't much to say about it. It didn't last long. Jason and I kept it private." I kept my answer simple as I tapped my fingers against arm trying to relieve some of the anxiety I was feeling. "But you do have motive don't you? Principal Weatherbee allowed me access to your file. You were quite the impressive student. Mainly As. Apart of the Vixens. You were quite the popular girl. Which isn't normal for someone born on the wrong side of the tracks is it Ms. DeSantos? Your parents left you and your brother to fend for yourselves right? Is that why you started dating Jason after he broke up with Polly? So he can gift you things? Use his family's wealth on you?" The sheriff questioned. He opened the second file and I instantly knew what that was about. "Not to mention you did time in the all girls juvinail dention facility for posession of a deadly weapon; your father's hand gun." My mouth dropped open as I realized fully what was happening.

"Excuse me Sheriff but it wasn't like that. That wasn't my fault! My dad put that there! Yes Jason and I dated shortly after his break up with Polly and we kept it private because of that reason. We didn't want people to think of me as his rebound. Jason was the first person to know I lived on the Southside. I-I thought Jason cared for me. I loved him okay? I loved him and he left me before he even--" My emotions got the better of me as I started to rant, my voice shaking with the emotions I tried to hold in. I froze as I realized just how bad this was starting to make me sound and I looked away. "I'm done... I want a lawyer."   The sheriff sighed and got up leaving the room. I looked out the caged window trying to will myself not to cry.

It wasn't until later that day that the door opened again. I had turned myself towards the window and was trying to hide myself in my jacket seeing as I had been crying and my make up was now ruined. I heard the steps and then a chair move. "Yasmine," it was Archie and I couldn't even look at him. "Yasmine, are you okay?" I shook my head from left to right as answer since I didn't want to talk to anyone. "It's going to be okay Yas. Trust me okay?" Archie reached over to rest his hand on my arm and I pulled away from him.  I looked at him as more tears started to fall down my face. "I'm here with my dad to talk to the sheriff about Jughead. We'll see what we can do to help you too." Archie said as he started to stand. "Don't get your hopes up Arch.. I look more incriminating than Jughead.."I whispered between a few sniffles as I turned to look back out the window letting more tears fall.

**POV third person**

The sheriff and Fred Andrews were in the hall talking about Jughead. Fred covered for Jughead giving the boy an alibi saying that he was working for him the day Jason was murdered. Archie came out of the room he had been talking to Yasmine in to see his dad covering for his best friend. It wasn't long after that they were able to get Jughead out but the Sheriff refused to let them get Yasmine out so easily. She wasn't the type of girl to work at a construction site. Fred, Archie, Betty, and Jughead were all leaving the station when the previously MAI FP Jones arrived.

"Jughead!" he called out to his son. "I'm sorry. I came as soon as I got your messages. My phone, the friggin' battery. I forgot to plug it in last night." FP started to explain but everyone their knew the trust behind the words FP was saying. No one replied and the tension between the group began to grow. "What the hell happened?" FP asked resting a hand on his hip. "Nothing." Jughead answered his father, "It's fine now. Mr. Andrews took care of it." FP raised the hand off of his hip as he pointed a finger back at the police station. "What jacked-up crap did they accuse you of in there, huh? Those bastards trying to throw you in jail like they did your old man? Well, screw that. I will rip Keller a new one for trying to pull that.." FP went off and tried to go into the station but Fred stopped him from going in. "FP settle down."

"Hey! Hey!" FP shouted and slightly pushed Fred off him. "This is my son, he is my son, Fred! You'd do the same for your boy." FP started walking towards the station again before Jughead grabbed his dad's shirt collar to stop him. "Dad. Don't make things worse. Please. They...they still have Yasmine in there." Jughead stated, the boys voice was soft and emotional. That sound in his voice broke through to FP though as the man stopped in his tracks and nods his head. "Yeah. Yeah all right then." FP stated softly. "You, uh, coming home with me?" FP turned and started to walk away when Archie called after him to inform him that Jughead was welcome to stay with him. The moment was emotional and the older Jones male realized that he really did need to sober up and change. He was going to do it for his son and for his family. As he went to leave the one thing FP did know is that as soon as he got home he was going to have to call Julio DeSantos and inform him about his sister being in jail, and that call wouldn't be easy.
