**POV Third Person**

The following day Archie went around trying to gather a team to work at his father's construction site. Jughead had someone he thought to invite too and told Archie he would meet him at the construction site before running off. True to his word Jughead met Archie at the construction site with another set of hands to help them. Archie didn't recognize the guy but he did look familiar. Either way he wasn't going to question it since he wanted as much help for his dad as he could. The group walked towards the trailer office that Fred Andrews and Hermione Lodge exited to see what the noise was. "What's this?" Fred asked looking at his son. "Your new crew, reporting for duty." Archie answered. "I appreciate it, I do, but isn't there something more important you need to be doing?" Fred asked them. The guy Jughead brought with him spoke up with a shrug of his shoulders, "Maybe these guys do but I don't, in fact I need a constructive outlet right now." Fred looked at him before turning back to Archie. "What about school, or football?" Fred questioned. "We can work after practice and on weekends until you find a new crew, help keep things on schedule. Come on dad, I worked for you the whole summer. And these guys--" Archie started to answer when Moose cut him off, "We're bruiser studs, Mr. Andrews. At least some of us are." Moose glances towards Jughead who already knew that was pointed at him. "Not everyone shows their strength in their body." The guy next to Jughead scoffed softly.

The team turned to get to work and the guy Jughead brought moved closer to Fred as they walked. "Fred Andrews right?" He asked looking at the older man. "That's me." Fred nods his head. "I'm Julio DeSantos, I just want to thank you for helping Jughead get out of the station and to thank you for trying to get my sister out. It means alot to know that someone besides my side wants to help her. I don't want to bring trouble I just want to help my sister." He explained keeping his voice down and he knew Fred would understand what he meant. Fred patted him on the back with a smile, "As long as you work hard we won't have any problems. You're doing alright kid." Julio smiled and moved to get to work with the rest of the team. While working Jughead introduced Archie to Julio and eventually the team. Julio was fairly quiet but he made up for it for being a hard worker. He really did have frustrations that he took out using a sledgehammer. After all not many people could handle knowing that their little sister was in jail, as a suspect in a murder case and not having anyone else around to really help.

That night as the guys were rounding up for the day when Moose forgot his phone. When the teen went out to get it he spotted two hooded men beating on one of the machines and went to confront them. The two hooded men turned and went after Moose with the crowbars. It wasn't long before the small crew ran over chasing the two hooded men back into their truck and driving away. They stood there and waited until sheriff Keller came.

"What the hell happened?" Keller asked as he stepped out of his cruiser. "Well, Moose, over there, he caught a couple of guys working over my equipment with a crowbar and then they got the drop on him." Fred explained to the sheriff. "Who were they, vandals?" Keller asked looking from Moose to Fred and taking a side eyed glance as Julio who was standing towards the back of the group. "Cliff Blossom has made it abundantly clear he would love nothing more than to see this whole project go belly-up." Fred told him, his hands in his pockets. Sheriff Keller shook his head as he replied, "I doubt that Blossom's gonna hire some thugs to bust up your site and beat up some teenagers. " Archie stood up and walked over next to his dad before commenting, "Maybe it wasn't him. I mean this is Serpent territory, right? Maybe it was them. Pissed that they had to leave 'cause of this project." Kevin walked over to stand next to his father looking quite confused by Archie's accusation. "Serpents?" Archie nods, "Yeah." Jughead walked over and stood next to Archie adding in his own statement, "When I worked at the drive-in, the Serpents never bugged me." Sheriff Keller looked from Jughead over to where Moose was. "Did you see any snake tattoos, anything on their jackets?" Moose, who was holding an ice pack to his head simply answered, "It happened pretty fast." Keller glanced back at Julio yet again making the male shift under the officer's gaze and cross his arms over his chest. "All right, I'll talk to Blossom, but I mean I don't think we'll get anywhere unless we can ID these guys."
