Seko's Prophecy ( old )

Chapter 4 - The crying cat.

Night was arriving, the chirp of the birbs began to stop, complete silence.
Death was sleeping soundly, without nothing to bother her.
Seko could not sleep. He could not stop thinking about things from his past, which for him, was quite murky and sad. He saw some night cats going through the tribe, he remembered something Taru said before everyone went to sleep..

Taru: You both will go on a patrol, we have to be sure that the Winged Forest does not attack us.

Ashlan: But leader, we wont be able to defend ourselves nor the tribe if they attack us..

Taru: I have one strategy, the new cat. I know he has something special, all Akorians have something.

Flame: The cat with the strange hair? I am not very sure if he will defend us. He looks like a coward.

Taru: Seko is not a coward, he might look like one, but he is now part of the tribe, that means we have to accept him as one of us. Now go, I wilk take care of the kitties with Phyran while you are out.

Ashlan and Flame: Okay. but...

Seko did not remember anything else, at least Taru thought that he was not a coward.
That made him a slightly happy.
Suddenly, a figure of a cat appeared at the borders of the tribe. Seko remembered what Taru said.

If you see a cat that is not from our tribe near to the borders, let someone know or go for your own, but remember, there are very hostile cats out there, so don't approach too much, or you might get hurt.

Seko approached carefully to the cat, which looked brown with maroon stripes, The closer he got, the more he could see what the cat was doing, which seemed to be with his head down crying.
Seko didn't thought of it twice, he ran as fast as he could to see why the cat was crying like that...

When Seko got to where the other cat was, he could see another strange characteristic, he had tiny wings.
Wings? Since when cats have wings?- Seko thought.

Seko: Hello, are you okay? Are you from here?

The brown cat got scared of Seko's presence that he decided to run to a nearby cave.
Wait!- Seko said. - ...First masked cats, and now winged cats? This becomes increasingly strange. -
Seko followed the crying cat's scent to the cave in which he was hiding, the cat was in panic.

Seko: H-hey... relax... I don't want to hurt you... - he lowered his body to seem less threatening.

The crying cat was panting, but he began to relax little by little. - Who are you? Why are you here? -

Seko: Why are you turning your back on me? What is your name?

D-don't approach me. I was a disgrace for my clan.. I will be a disgrace for everyone.. I cant fly, I cant.. - Seko placed his paw on the back of the cat, interrupting him.

Seko: You were part of a tribe? Why they thought you were a disgrace?

Aika: My name is Aika, I was part of the Winged Forest.. But they thought I was a disgrace because I was not able to fly. I can hardly glide with this tiny wings.

Seko: Hm? The cats that are there also have wings?

Aika: They are not cats, they are like big cats, tigers or maybe lynxs, the point is that they are like 2 or 3 times bigger than us, tge normal cats.

Seko: Woah, now I understand what Ashlan said about the Winged Forest, that our clan doesn't have any possibilities against them.

Aika: Who is Ashlan?

Seko: The Co-Leader. One of the best fighters and friends of Taru, our leader.

Aika: Oh, nice.. - He started to turn his head so he could look at Seko. But Aika had another great characteristic, one Seko would not have expected ever. Aika turned his head completely, making eye contact with Seko. He was in shock.

Seko: W-Where the hell are your eyes?! I can't see them!

Aika: That's a long story, but it doesn't matter right now. I wanted to ask you a question about your tribe.

Seko: What is it?

Aika: I would like to join, i don't want to be one of those silly loners.

Seko: Hm, okay, I will go ask Taru, follow me.

Aika followed Seko to Taru's den, which was almost at the center of the tribe, it was kind of small. Only one cat fit at a time, although mostly he only used it to sleep.
The sun was beginning to rise from the horizon, everyone was waking up, ready for a next day. Taru did not seem to have slept the night before, his eyes were slightly red and he seemed sleepy.
