“So, what is it that you want to show me?”

In the space of a few hours, Dante had ended up moving in with my parents and I, my dad was completely ok with it but my mum ended up having one of her infamous bitch flips and said no until my dad managed to calm her down. She spouted off with the usual ‘he’s a demon’ and ‘he’s going to corrupt her!’ speeches. Yet she completely and utter adores Jacob for being the perfect little boyfriend to me.

But now, it’s been a week since Dante arrived in my world and he’s adjusting to it well, sure he gets the odd comments about his hair but luckily since he’s not wearing his usual attire, it’s just the hair comments we have to worry about. Jade likes to torment him and I think he’s getting on well with Zack and my dad, my mum still hates his guts for no apparent reason like she always does but that’s pretty normal.

“This… Room… I’m about to show you, you don’t touch anything without my permission, got it?”

“You’re protective of it?”

“Protective doesn’t even cover it.”

I had a smile on my face though as I spoke, humming a little tune to myself as I unlocked the door to this special room, when I opened it, his eyes widened. This room contained everything I owned to do with Devil May Cry, my merchandise room and whatever else you wanted to call it. Nobody was allowed in here without good reason, I kept it locked and everything, I had the only key to this room so no one else would be able to get into it. Where did I keep the key? The majority of the time I kept it hidden in my bra but Dante had noticed me taking it out and insisted that I get a chain for it.

Mind he went completely red when he saw me take it out, he thought I was feeling myself up or some other perverted thing, so now I had it on a chain around my neck. I slid it back around my neck with my rose necklace, stepping in the room with a huge smile on my slender lips.

“Dante, this is my Devil May Cry room.”

You name it; I more than likely had it. I had the comics, the manga books, and many doujinshi that were separated by their ratings, I had mostly slash doujinshi but that was beside the point. Dante just stared in disbelief, walking over to a shelf that had figure after figure of him on it then glanced to a wall with all different kinds of artwork that was official, promotional or just commissions that my dad had bought me.

“This is… One hell of a collection, Masumi… How many figures have you got of me?”

“I lost count ages ago… I’ve got plush dolls as well, signatures from the different voice actors in the series…”

“Whose this fruity looking guy here?”

I couldn’t stop myself from bursting out with laughter as Dante pointed at a photo of Reuben Langdon and I at a con on the day I didn’t cosplay as the man standing in front of me. He just called his own voice actor fruity; Jesus Christ I loved this man.

“Oh Dante… That’s your voice actor! That’s Reuben Langdon!”

“…That’s him?”

“Yeah! He cosplayed as you in the live action commercial for Devil May Cry 3; he made the ultimate sacrifice, his hair. Jade literally fainted when she met him here.”

“You’re friends with him?”

“First name basis, yeah, like I told you, does a lot of voice acting and stunts for my dad’s company. Oh, god! Don’t read that!”

I went bright red as Dante picked up a doujinshi called ‘La Vita E Rosa’; he raised an eyebrow then looked at the cover, chuckling at it before pointing at it.
