~Time skip 1 week later~

(Mel's POV)

Me and Jaren went on walk together it was sort of an awkward tension between us. We both weren't very good at making conversations and being social face to face. "So.. do you know how John is?" I said trying to start a conversation to loosen up the tension. "He's having trouble on how to ask out Destiny. He's asked me for advice and I answered him by saying; 'I haven't asked out the girl I liked because I'm scared how am I supposed to know John!'" Jaren laughed lightly.

I smiled, though I was a bit hurt by him saying he liked a girl. 'As long as your happy I'll be happy for you.' I thought, I sighed softly. "What's up?" He asked me. "Uh...The sky?" I responded as I giggled. "Ha Ha very funny but for real what's wrong?" He asked as he held my hands. I blushed as he had both of my hands in his. I tried to look away to hide my embarrassment. He gently made me look at him, his eyes shined as if he was hurt but my actions.

'Now or Never' I thought. "Jaren I-I..I Love you!" I yelled as I forcedly looked away afraid of rejection.

(3rd POV)

Jaren said nothing at first shocked of what he had just heard. The girl he loves, loved him in return and is looking away from his eyes.
