Arya was seated cross-legged on the cold, tile floor of the castle, one sharp and defined eyebrow raised as the story she had been practically forced to listen to ended.
"You snuck out during curfew,"
She began icily, punctuating each statement with a finger.
"Went to a possibly alien-infested crash sight in hopes of sneaking inside, hacked the security cameras, beat up-"
The woman now turned to Keith, her steel glare making the teenager shrink back.
"Multiple grown men and broke your long-lost brother figure from isolation, you three-"
She gestured to the former garrison cadets, yes glittering menacingly.
"-following suit. Then, you decided to trail after unusual energy, willingly boarded a giant, mechanical, blue cat and flew into outer space. You tried to take down an alien battleship with limited information to who or what was inside, flew further into space, entered a mysterious portal with no clue to where it was taking you, entered a castle on a planet you couldn't name and awoke two alien beings from a ten thousand year cryo-rest."
She finished with a low hiss, startling her companions with how uncannily realistic it sounded.
Holding up her fingers, all of which were extended, she fixated her fire-like eyes onto the only, non-alien adult in the room.
"Did I miss anything?"
Shiro, opening his mouth to admit that 'Yes, in fact, you did miss something out' was cut off rudely.
"Oh yes! You went out to see another, giant robotic lion, trusted the person emerging from said lion and are currently allowing her to talk with you like old friends."
The room was quiet as the newcomer paused to catch her breath as being this stern was strange for her.
Everyone watched on with wide eyes, Lance clinging to Pidge and Hunk while the two Alteans watched quizzically from the sidelines, Keith hung his head in shame and Shiro just stared at his long lost friend.
Looking around the circle one last time, a broad and glittering grin spread itself across her face.
"I'm impressed."
