Pidge, or rather, Katie welcomed her with open arms, the pair immediately sifting through the vast expanse of intel the woman had collected over her time in space. Arya's intelligence was astounding to the teenager, her mind complex and flexible, knowledge overwhelming. The Alteans had been correct, the human female was skilled in every area.
Lance hadn't flirted with the woman, seeming to pick up on the pure and love-filled glances she and Shiro cast at one another. Arya was easily likeable, and the fact she was an astonishing pilot as well as being socially advanced placed her in a new light for the boy. He adored her, looked up to her and respected her former rank and status in the military.
Hunk... well Hunk seemed to befriend her almost immediately, the boy bombarding her with question after question of the cuisine in space. Arya had never met someone as enthusiastic about food as him, but enjoyed that characteristic and answered with a vigour that matched his own.
They were different from the company she had indulged in for the past nine phoebs, they were fun to be around, bright and cheery, constantly curious - and these factors indulged the missing co-pilot. She wanted to stay with them, their mere presence sending waves of calm over her.
And for the first time in a little under a deca-phoeb, Arya felt like she was home.
