Night-Stalker: Prologue

Firey POV:

I was outside at night, around 11 pm, on a dimly lit sidewalk with headphones in. I make a turn through a dark alleyway, "This place is kinda creepy," I thought. "I should get home soon."

I pause my music and take out my headphones. I hear some rustling behind me as soon as I do. I sharply turned around to see nothing there, except for a disturbed bush. I walk over and look inside the bush and I almost vomit my guts out. One of my best friends, Pin, was..

I was witnessing Pin's dismembered body lying on the dirt.

I watched the blood and flesh slowly ooze out of each body part she had. I began crying, sobbing, until a voice creeped up behind me.

"Are you okay?"

I flinched as the voice said its words. I turn around and see my friend, Coiny. "Why are you crying?" Coiny was Pin's boyfriend, so I kind of hesitated to tell him. But I did anyway, and because I couldn't talk through my sobbing, I pointed my shaking hand at the dead body. Coiny gasped as he saw his mate chopped into pieces in the shrubbery. He put his and over his mouth and I tears slowly start to form. We sat and cried for a minute, until he stopped and said,"Cmon.. I'll take you home." And he walked me home while putting his arm around me comfortingly.

??? POV:

Huh, wow. This was honestly easier to get away with than I thought. The outcome was expected but, sad to see.

I was watching him, and I watched him cry the whole time. Why is he this attached to a friend like this when he has me? I killed her for you, it's not the sweetest way to go but its efficient. I will protect you at all costs. You're my love, my everything.
