Chapter 9

The next day Tiffany wakes up walking into Mason room to see him not in there. She walks into the living room to see Matt cooking breakfast.

"Where's mason?"

"I took him to school"

"Oh" she walks over to see him making french toast, bacon, eggs and sausages.

"i'm making you some breakfast"

"why?" she sits down "you think this is gonna win me over?" she says with a laugh.

"No" he puts some food on a plate for her and hands it to her "maybe" he laughs.

"well it's not gonna work, thanks for the food though" she takes the plate and stands.

"where you going?"

"back there to eat"

"you don't wanna sit in here with me"

"nah" she walks into her room closing the door behind her.

Tiffany is in the supermarket with Jasmine buying some food and drinks for the house.

"So does this mean you and Matt are getting back together?" Jasmine asks.

"why do you want me and Matt to get back together so bad?"

"i just like y'all together" Jasmine grabs some bread putting it in the cart.

"yeah well i don't think we're gonna be getting together anytime soon" Tiffany turns the corner bumping into someone and dropping the stuff she has in her hand.

"i'm sorry"

"no i'm sorry" Tiffany bends down picking the stuff up as the boy bends down to help her.

Tiffany stands looking up at the person standing in front of her as he hands her the groceries.

"Tiffany?"

"Um, do i know you?"

"you don't remember me? it's drew"

"oh my god, hi!" Tiffany hugs him "how you been?"

"i've been fine, just running back and forth for my job, how have you matt and mason been?"

"well um, mason is doing fine, me and matt are no longer together"

"that sucks, why not?"

"he cheated on me, i thought you and him were friends, i don't know why he didn't tell you any of this"

"me and him kinda had a falling out" Drew looks over to jasmine who is standing there just listening.

"oh, drew this is jasmine my bestfriend, jasmine this is drew an old friend"

"it's nice to meet you" Jasmine shakes drew hand

"nice to meet you too"

"if you want you can come back to the apartment and see mason or we can just catch up"

"i would love that" drew smiles "let me get your number so i can call you" he hands tiffany his phone.

she enters her number then hands the phone back "great, i'll stop by later, ima shoot you a message"

"okay, bye" she hugs him

"bye" he smiles then walks off.

Tiffany looks over to jasmine who has a smirk on her face.
