Hicstrid-The War (Completed)

The final Battle

Hiccup's pov~

Everyone boarded a dragon that I had recently trained to work well with humans. "We leave now, wait till I give the signal to attack if it's needed." I said as I climbed pnto Toothless and took off.

We flew for hours trying to get back to Berk before sunrise to stop the war before it started. The sun started to rear its ugly face as well flew close to Berk. "I'll lead them to hiding spots, you go find where the bay is and I'll meet you." Astrid whispered as she flew closer to me. I nodded and turned the opposite direction towards Dragon's cove.

When I reached Dragon's cove, everyone was charging at each other, I flew closer and made Toothless shoot a warning shot between them before they intersected paths.  Before I could land, Astrid was by my side on Stormfly, hovering over all that was left of Berk and the Meathead tribes.

We lowered our dragons to the ground as everyone held weapons to our dragons. "If you do that, they will attack." Astrid said holding her axe in her hands.

I climbed off of Toothless and parted his head, being sure to keep my helmet and gear on as I did so.

"Look, Berk didn't steal your dragons, I did." I spoke as gasps rang through the crowd of people. "Fighting needs to stop, all of this needs to stop! Y'all are in an alliance with each other to protect and care for your tribes from people like Vego Grimborn or Riker Grimborn. Y'all fighting, offers time for people like them to strike." I paused as people started to lower weapons.

"I know y'all think Berk has lost everything, their Shield Maden, the rightful Heir of Berk, your fire squad, your Cheiftess everything. But the truth is..." I said lighting my sword telling everyone to show themselves. "We are all here, thriving and living together in peace." I said taking off my helmet and shortly followed by everyone else.

"There is still time to stop this war, just with forgiveness. Y'all made a call in judgment, Valka was to absorbed with dragons, I was dead, Astrid was accused; everything swirls back into order like a boomerang, you just have to know when to catch it." I spoke as my father neared closer to me.

As he came closer, Astrid pulled her axe infront of him, seperating us from each other for protection. "Ast, let him. Through." I spoke softly as she lowerd her axe and stood behind me.

"Hiccup...I'm proud to call you my son. I should have never done that, you would be an amazing Heir to Berk and I believe we must forgive to grow." My father said as he pulled me into a hug.

Everyone cheered as we hugged and started fusing into each other as one.

My father let go and I turned to Astrid who had a sweet smile on her face.

"I knew you could do it."
