I can hear her crying, but it is in the distance it echoes through the room. I look around the spinning room. It's lit up bright, but the more, I panic the brighter it gets. My mind spins, and I close my eyes. The room stops spinning and that's when I notice I am the light. I look down to see nobody, no flesh. I can hear my heart beating, but I am a flickering light. I don't know how I am trapped in this cell. It can't be a nightmare it feels so real I can feel the cold. I swim through the air over to the wall. I try and lean on it and I go right through. There is a baby carriage with a creepy one-eyed stuffed animal. It looks like a hippo, but it could be an elephant. It's so torn up and covered in blood. Bloody Handprints scattered everywhere, all over the walls and baby carriage.

Her name and my name ars being called and I feel the electricity running through me. A light flickers on and off and it gets so bright it shatters.

Everything around me starts getting ripped away. I am getting pulled somewhere. Panic sets in.

I open my eyes to doctors all around me. My best friend was in the corner crying. Wires all over me and all down my exposed chest, I rip the wires off and sit up.

I look around the room, as I readjust my gown. My wolf growls, she lies beneath my skin ready to pounce.

"What the hell was all of that for?" I ask genuinely confused about what just happened.

"You were dead," the doctor announces in a monotone. His voice is steady but his eyes reflect fear.

A shock hits me and this time it's not electricity. I look at him like he is dumb.

"I was not dead, I could hear everything. I was in a cell. The one I was trapped in 8 months ago. He knew I was pregnant and if it wasn't for Anthony, then he would have taken my baby. You never told me about the crib, let me see your hands." I shout. He shows them and my eyes flicker on, like headlights of a car. His hands light up blue.

"Go put your hand on the wall." He does as I say it.

The handprint is the same. I closed my eyes, he ripped him apart in human form. He tore him limb from limb. He scattered throughout the room his bloody handprints. The thought makes me sick.

How could he be so cruel? He lied to me and said he was locked up.

"Get out!" I scream.

"Get out now or so help me god I will-" I growl and he backs away. The same fear in his eyes as the doctor.

"You lied to me, you held me in your arms after taking his life. I let a cold-blooded murderer comfort me. Don't give me you executed this for our bullshit. Don't, because you do things, good things but the one moment you did something horrible. You couldn't confide in me, so you lied. You lied to me, you kept things from me! Go, immediately. Our daughter is safe, I do not want you near her until I clear my head. You know what? I forgive you, but I will not forget it. You lied, I was nothing but honest with you." I cry out as my chest begins to hurt. The light comes out of me again and my body goes limp.

Everyone looks at me in fear. "She separated her life force from her body. I have never seen anything like this." The doctor says finally chiming in after watching us like reality TV.

He goes over to my body and checks my pulse.

"You are dead again," He proclaims, but I can hear my heart beating in my ears.

"How?" I ask.

I get no response, so I head back over to my body. I look at how exhausted I am. How fricken warn out I am. My life force is strong but my body is weak.
I close my eyes and enter my body, I wake up gasping for air.

"What the hell did I just do?" I say in between breaths.

Tears begin to fall and Ari comes over crying.

"Don't you ever do that again," She cries.

"I don't know how I did it, but it could help us. When I am calm I am not that ball of light. I am a ghost. My dad told me about a warrior that can fight by leaving his body. She would steal from humans that hunted us. Her name was Katana, she was a warrior to the gods." They all look at me in shock.

"You paid attention to those myths. I fell asleep during those lessons unless they were on hot gods. We have to figure out how to control it also you can't leave your body for too long or it will rot." Ari looks at me wiping her tears.

"Don't overstress, you have a son coming. Do not risk that blessing." She looks at me in awe as I say this. She holds her big bump.

"How do we solve this?" She asks.

"How do we use this against people?" I sigh I do not want to use it against anyone. I just want peace.

"We won't." Everyone looks at me like I physically hurt them.

"What other powers could you possibly possess? They could help us protect our packs. They won't come near us if they know how powerful you are." She explains.

"Or we could piss him off even more." I bark out a little louder than expected.

"I am exhausted, everyone just leave, please. I want to rest, I need to figure out some things. I am thinking about giving up my wolf. Asking my grandma to take our wolves away for our good. He won't be able to track us and you could say we are dead. It would save everyone. I do not want anyone to die for me." A sharp pain hits me and I am taken to the court of moon gods and goddesses. My father sits across from me.

"You can not give up, you must fight. Your brother has powers too. But you have much more strength, that you haven't even tapped into. Also if this battle doesn't happen Ari will lose the baby." I am then flashing back to the hospital bed, my head spinning.

I keep getting ripped away from reality, no matter what I do. I am going to have to fight.

I need to find control and balance.
