~~~(Boy in a Rocking Roll Band by The Pierces)~~~
Brooklyn Sabin has her well rounded chin aimed towards the bright sunny sky above her. Her short tanned leg is arched on the purple lounge she's laying back on and her long brown hair is pulled into a messy bun. Her thin lips are spread into a small smile as she feels the sun working it's rays into her already tan skin. Her black bikini only hides her most private areas and the only sound is the water running from the fountain at the head of her swimming pool.
"I can't believe we start our sophomore year tomorrow." Georgia Nichols says from next to her on her own lounge. Georgia's bleach blonde hair is swept up into a tight ponytail and she's wearing a blue bathing suit, her white skin trying to absorb the rays from the sun.
"Don't ruin this moment, Georgia." Anna Adams says on the other side of Brooklyn. Her flaming red hair cascades down her open back as her sun hat blocks the overly hot fire ball in the sky. Her skin is way too sensitive to even TRY to get tan. She's flipping through a magazine, her Michael Kors sunglasses pushed up high on her nose. "We are enjoying ourselves on one of the last days of summer. Don't bring up school."
"I'm kind of excited to go back." Brooklyn speaks up honestly. After everything that happened last year, she's ready to get back in the hallways of Seaview High School and make this year better than the last. When Brooklyn doesn't hear her friends speaking, she opens her eyes to see them both shooting daggers at her. "What?"
"Girls who like school can't tan with us." Georgia says jokingly.
"We all went through a lot last year." Brooklyn reminds them. "It would be nice to have a school year that doesn't revolve around drama."
"Or pregnancy." Anna chimes in.
Brooklyn cringes. Giving up her baby three months ago was the hardest thing she has ever had to do. At least a week or two after giving her baby away, Brooklyn would break down in her shower every day, regretting what she did. She would sob to her mom about it but Mrs. Sabin assured that she did the right thing so she has no other choice but to believe her. It was a closed adoption, meaning Brooklyn can't come into contact with her child or the parents until the baby is eighteen. She's is okay with that too. She figures that it'll hold her back from going crazy and try to take back her kid. "This year will be different. I can feel it."Cambridge Brightwell rolls off of the girl in his bed, breathing heavily. His clothes are off under the thin sheet covering him and the woman next to him, both of them panting for air. A few strands of Cambridge's blonde hair stick to his forehead from sweat and his arms are draped over his chest. A bra is slung over the lamp on the bedside table and the long curtains shield the two of them from any sunlight.
"I think that was our best yet." Cambridge thinks aloud, looking at the blonde girl next to him.
"I agree." Dana Kapeluck sits up, her long brown hair tangled in a sexy mess.
Cambridge doesn't think it's weird hooking up with a woman almost twice his age. She's only twenty four but age is just a number to them. They ran into each other a few weeks ago on the beach and nearly had sex in the ocean before continuing things back at her Malibu home. No one even has to know. They meet up at least once a day, have sex, cuddle, and then eat. They're basically dating- even if it's only within the walls of Dana's house in the hills. "I wish I could take you out sometime."
"Um, why?" Dana swings her tiny legs over the side of her bed before pulling on a tight tank top.
"It would be nice to show you off every once in a while." Cambridge kisses her neck from behind.
"That would be nice." Dana agrees, melting into him. "But that would also mean me getting arrested."
"True." Cambridge laughs as Dana gets up from the bed.
"I'll make us some lunch." Dana leaves the room and Cambridge falls back into the pillows and blankets on the bed with a smirk. He rests his head on top of his hands, enjoying his his last day of summer before school starts.Case Mercy sits on the sofa in his and Eric McKinstry's apartment not far from where he used to live with his brother Skylar. The fan in the window blow cool air onto him as he flips through a magazine that's only reading to pass the time. He and Eric have been in their honeymoon phase all summer. They have had countless really hot make out session but nothing goes further than that. They sleep in the same bed and everything but they haven't went all the way yet. Case knows that he's ready for sex with Eric but Eric hasn't given him any signs on if HE is. Is it bad if he's not ready?
"It is hot out there." Eric comes back from his morning run, taking his earphones out of his ears and wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Yeah?" Case gets to his feet. "Well do you need to shower?"
"Yeah." He answers as Case comes closer to him. "We can go out to eat or something after? The last supper of summer."
"Sure." Case nods, watching Eric walk away as he strips off his shirt. Case tries not to drool when he sneaks a peak at Eric stripping off his running shorts in the bathroom. Before Case can see anything else, Eric shuts the door.
