~~~(Hey Na Na by Katie Herzig)~~~
   Harrow watches herself glide across the dance floor in the large mirror on the wall of the practice room of 8 Count Dance Studio. She twirls around, arcing her back out and popping out her leg, pointing her toes so she looks more than perfect. Her big audition onto this dance team is today and she's more than nervous. She has been practicing for hours every day without a break. Her tryout has to be a two minute routine that's capable of wowing the judges. She doesn't care that she's on the dance team for Seaview. This dance studio will help her get further in her dance career- no matter what it is.
   "Hey, coffee break?" Emerson comes through the door to the rehearsal room with two paper cups of coffee in his hands.
   "I don't have time for a break." Harrow barks, taking her place in the center of the room before starting over her dance. She's been talking to Emerson a little more ever since the riot happened. Even though that day turned into total hell, he really cared about her and did whatever he could in order to save her. Maybe she overreacted about the whole Tatiana thing. Emerson isn't too bad of a guy.
   "You've been cooped up in this room for days." Emerson backs up from her when she starts dancing, the music loud from the stereos on either side of the mirrors. "Your muscles need a break."
   "My audition is today." Harrow wipes sweat from her forehead as she tumbles across the floor. "I need to get this right."
   "Harrow, it's perfect." Emerson tells her seriously. "I'm sure you'll great."
   Harrow looks herself up and down in the mirror. Maybe coffee won't hurt. He's right. She's been doing this for days to make sure everything is perfect. A break will be good. "I hope that's caramel."
   That same Saturday morning, Kai twiddles his mechanical pencil between his fingers in the suspension room of the high school. He's still stuck in this room but luckily, this is his last week in here. Kai has been telling everyone that he can't wait to get out of here and that he's counting down the days until his suspension is up but the truth is, he doesn't want to leave. Emlyn makes his day a whole lot better and they got to know each other pretty well in here. He's not one of those loser jocks that fits the perfect stereotype of a football player. He keeps an eye on Kai and he's not too bad to talk to- or look at. Kai learned that Emlyn is in here for trashing the girl's locker room for fun- much less interesting than the reason Kai is in here.
   "You sure do like to stare, huh riot starter?" Emlyn catches Kai watching him from across the room.
   Kai quickly looks down at his work. "I wasn't staring."
   "Yeah you were." Emlyn's perfectly shaped lips spread into a smile as he stares at Kai.
   Kai straightens up, reminding himself that guys like other guys to be up front with them. He looks at Emlyn, glad that Miss Dooley is on her hour long bathroom break. "Okay, so what if I was?"
   Emlyn's mouth goes from a knowing smile to a sexy smirk. "I'd say I like it."
   Before any more words are said, Kai and Emlyn both dive across the table to each other, kissing each other hard on the lips. Kai doesn't care how sloppy this kiss is but just as long as he's kissing him, he's fine. Emlyn runs his hands up and down Kai's back as Kai pulls him closer, the only thing separating them is the desk. As much as Kai knows how bizarre this is, he doesn't stop... and he doesn't plan to.
   "Alright Tabby, can you give us sexy?" Ryan Mason tells Tabby as he presses down on the shutter button on his big SLR camera.
   Tabby is posing on some sort of vintage couch in front of a gray printed backdrop at Mason Photography. Conner has basically become her agent after he took Tabby under his wing in order to help her put out her single. He even got her this opportunity to be featured in Beverly Hills Magazine where she'll get a small corner of the page about her single. Tabby couldn't be more glad with the way things are going. Cambridge has been super supportive, Grams has had no problem babysitting Dalton longer than usual, Pops helps her write new songs, and she hasn't had to come across anyone getting in her way. Her dreams are finally coming true. Tabby leans forward and flashes the camera the sexiest expression she can manage, pursing her lips and arcing her brow.
   "Have you ever modeled before?" Ryan asks, squatting to get more. "You're totally natural."
   "This is my first time." Tabby says honestly, putting her leg up on the couch. She didn't know how well she'd do in front of the camera and how many pounds it'll add to her cheeks but this isn't too bad. Like Ryan said, she's a natural.
