"Did you and mom get the photo I sent you?" I asked my sister Tamara over the phone.

"Yes girl. Youre getting so big!!" She squealed over the phone.

I smiled at her words, "im not that big Tammy, just really getting noticeable I guess"

"Monty where do you want them to put the shaved ice?" Terrance asked me interrupting my call

I pointed to a corner of the room.

"Listen Tammy,  I gotta go. Kiss my boys for me when they get home from school" I told her.

"Okay hun, Jackson always asking about when his aunty is gonna come visit"

"Tell them soon enough," I told her as my phone beeped in my ear indicating there was a call waiting.

"Take care Miky, love ya" Tamara said before ending the call

I looked down at the phone seeing it was Marcy calling.

"Hey Marce, is everything okay on your end?" I asked a bit concerned.

"Everything is fine. Pitbull's party got great reviews. I was actually calling because someone was trying to reach you directly" Marcy explained.

"Oh alright. Who is it?" I asked as I fixed an ice bucket towards the centre of a table.

"Tina Knowles...as in Beyonce Knowles Carter's mother" Marcy said excited

My eyes widened, " Tina Knowles?  Omg. Sure put her through" I said to Marcy

Me: Mikaela Montgomery speaking

Tina: Yes. Im calling on behalf of my daughter, Beyonce Knowles. We've been hearing of all your work and the positive critiques youve been receiving.

Me: well thank you Mrs.Knowles, I strive to create a unique experience for each of my client's events.

Tina: and you seem to be doing exactly that. Thats why we would like you to plan the album release party for Beyonce's platinum 4 disc album.

A smile spread across my face in disbelief

Me: I would absolutely love that mrs.Knowles

Tina: perfect then. The album is being released in the United Kingdom in 2 weeks. So we would need you to fly out to Los Angeles by tomorrow to start planning. We also require you to fly out to London as well in the next few days, but trip expenses will be paid for on our end.

"Done and done." I smiled again at the amazing opportunity to work for the one and only queen Bey!

Tina seemed to smile over the phone, " we will send you the necessary information and contract. You could sign it and bring it in when you get to L.A tomorrow."

After that call I was ecstatic!

"Hey T, i think im gonna go to the salon and get my hair done," I told Terrance.

"Cool. You know which one you going to so I could pick you up when youre done?" He asked

"I'll message you. First im gonna have to find one," I chuckled

"Well we in Manhattan. Im sure that wont be too hard," he said back to me.

I left the venue and pulled my jacket closer to me before hailing a cab. It was chilly as hell out here.

I was only thankful since I got to layer my clothing so could hide my obvious baby bump.

It was late afternoon by the time I got my hair done. I decided to do a curly weave and had the stylist place It in a high bun for me.
