"Helloooo!" Dawn said as she snapped her finger at me, bringing me back into the present.

I focused on her as she looked at me with a raised eyebrow, " what the hell's your problem?...you been quiet and out of it since we were driving here."

"Im sorry, it's nothing" I said as I took a sip of my Glass of water.

We were downtown having lunch after I left the set of the photoshoot.

She sucked her teeth, " don't try to lie to me hoe. I've known you for over 10 years, I know when you got shit on your mental"

She was right. I was lying. I was thinking about the kiss August and I shared earlier that day.

"Well?" Dawn said getting impatient.

I leaned forward, "Okay. But you gotta promise not to mention this to anyone"

She stale faced me.

"So at the photoshoot earlier, August kissed me." I told her

"AUGUST KISSED YOU?!!" Dawn exclaimed loudly in the bistro causing a few people to turn and look our way

"Would you keep quiet," I said scolding her

She placed a hand on her lip, "my bad. But you said he kissed you?"

I nodded

"Did you kiss him back?"

"I did. I mean maybe it wasn't he who kissed me," I said trying to make sense of what happened

"Fuck you mean?" Dawn asked with a confused expression

"I don't know!" I shrugged, " Maybe we both kissed each other?"

She still looked confused.

I took a deep breath, " we were taking photos and August had just said these really sweet things to the babies...he stood up to look me in my eyes and before I knew it we were kissing each other"

"Damn. So how do you feel about all of that?" She asked

"I don't know honestly. I mean it has crossed my mind a few times as to how perfect it would be if Aug and I were together since we're basically having a family....he's gonna make one hell of a dad"  I said as Dawn smiled at my words

"But right now I'm just curious to know what August might think. Like did he just get caught up in the moment or "

"Does he have some typa feelings for you" Dawn finished my sentence. I nodded

She leaned back into her seat, " well there's only one way to find out. Yall need to talk about this"

"Yeah you right," I said before biting on my bottom lip in thought.

"Well that's for later, as of now my ass is hungry. Where the hell these waitresses at?" Dawn said as she saw one and signaled to her.

"this ya yungin August Alsina, and I said it befo Imma say it again...if you ain't listening to Hotlanta 98.1 you a muufuckin busta" I said ending my radio interview.

I gave the show host dap befo exiting out da building with T.

"Hey man T, I need ta talk to ya bout somethin' " I told Big T as we walked to da vehicle.

"Whats on your mind yung?" He asked once we were inside

"It has to do with Mikaela," I began

"I hope yall stubborn asses ain't started arguing again. I was just gettin used to the peace," he replied .
