The next Morning

August

I woke up about 10 am when da bus finally pulled up in Philly. I was still faded from da party last night so layed up in ma bed scrollin thru ma phone.

"Yo yung!" I heard Sneak call to me

I stood up from ma room and opened da door to see what he wanted.

"Someone hea' to see you," he said. I frowned before peering around da corner to see Mikaela standin there.

"Im gon check out da hotel," he said before headin for da door.

"Good morning, " she said once we were alone.

I stuck my hands down my pockets, " arent ya supposed to be half way to Cali by now?"

She shrugged,  " Im not going to cali today. I called Beyonce's people back and told them I cant make it out til the 27th"

I looked up at her, "and what did dey say?"

"They werent too happy about my sudden change of plans but...like you said theyre the ones who called me so they agreed" she said sticking her hands into her hoodie.

"So what now, ya want a medal or sum'n?" I asked

She began mean muggin me but I couldnt hold back my laughter.

"Im just playin ma," I smiled.

She relaxed.

" what you up to for today?" I asked

"I still have one final party to plan for you dont I?" She smiled.

" those $15 000 deposits been lookin mighty fine so I might as well cash in on the last" she nodded her head and rubbed her hands befo doing that LL cool J lip action.

I laughed at her expression, "you should come to ma show tonight then...seein its ma last before we all head home tomorrow evenin" I suggested to her

"Uhhh, you know I get tired real quick right?" She said back

Mikaela

"You can sit backstage then. Besides ma babies aint never heard dey pops sing! I think dey should get familiar wit ma voice....maybe dey gon learn a thing or two as well" he said confidently

I playfully rolled my eyes at him, " what? they're gonna take over from you when you retire?"

"Ya Never know. We could start a family business....Yung & da Yungins" he said smirking before we both laughed.

"Alright, in that case I'll come to your show"

DJ Era walked into the bus at that.

"Oh waddup Mik, I didnt know you wore glasses?" He said as he walked by me.

I only then remembered I hadnt taken off my reading glasses and scrambled to remove them then.

"Relax ma, I think you look sexy wit em on" august chuckled when he saw me quickly take off my glasses

I stale faced him, "youre just saying that"

"Naww, if its one thing you can depend on, is fa Aug to be is honest" he said back.

I snickered that he spoke about himself like that.

"For real doe....I thought so ever since I first saw ya with em on that day I came to your office" he said

I gave him a once over still trying to figure if he was joking or not. "Well thanks."

"Aug man, your phone is ringing! " Era called from further inside the bus
