Dawn rambled on like a high schooler in love with Jermaine over the phone.

I looked over at her cousin Lonnie and smirked, Dawn was never this calm with Jermaine so it was fun to listen in.

"What you two hoes smiling about?" She said as she ended her phone conversation.

I shook my head, " it's nothing. We just never everrrr heard you get all gushy with Jermaine before," I explained as Lonnie nodded in agreement with me.

She raised an eyebrow, "yall need to my your damn business"

"She right though D," Lonnie chimed in

She shrugged, "Being away from each other just got a nigga all in his feelings I guess....and me too" she smiled slyly

I chuckled, " it's nice to see you not arguing, that's all"

"I could say the same for you and Aut- I mean August" she said looking around the living room

"He's not home," I said once I realized she was hoping he didn't hear her almost slip up with his name.

"He's in New York, flying in tonight. So we could finally get this photoshoot done with my babies tomorrow," I said as I rubbed my tummy

"Good. That means one thing then." Dawn said

I frowned, " what?"

"Sleepover!!" She shouted as she raised her wine glass in the air

"Naww. We cant, remember we promised Ontaria we'd come support her at her new workplace tonight," Lonnie said to Dawn

She smacked her lips, "Oh shit. I almost forgot"

"Who's Ontaria?" I asked a bit confused

"That's our other cousin. She starting at a new strip joint tonight. Told her we'd come through" Dawn explained

"Ontaria? Please tell me that's her stage name," I said finding it weird

"Nope. She was born in Ontario, Canada. My uncle Lewis gave her that name" Dawn said

I laughed. Dawn's family had some ghetto ass names. She was probably the only one with a regular name. In fact Lonnie's full name was Lonnitanisha.

"You should come too. Now that you can leave the house." Lonnie suggested

I shook my head and hand, " nooo thanks. Don't think August would appreciate me taking his unborn kids to a strip joint,"

Dawn rolled her eyes, " August controls your ass now?"

"You said it. I enjoy us not arguing...besides, I wouldn't wanna go there anyway." I replied her

"Whatever. How bout lunch tomorrow after yalls shoot?" Dawn asked

"Definitely, I know this great soul food spot, August ordered from there for us last week. That mac and cheese was lifeee." I said remembering how good it tasted

Dawn laughed, " don't have an orgasm over some damn macaroni girl"

Lonnie laughed too, imitating my facial expression causing me to join in in laughing....
