" You're ignoring me." He points out." I don't know what you're talking about." I say, not even opening my eyes.
Of course I know what he's talking about, for most of the day, I haven't spoken to him, because I woke up this morning and decided that if he was not going to answer my question, then I'll let him get a feel of being the one left hanging, not knowing.
Childish I know , but my curiosity isn't agreeing with that right about now. So I'm under a tree, lying on the grass and just enjoying myself, well trying to .
I hear him sigh before I feel him sit right next to me.
"This is about last night, isn't it?" He asks.
Peeking a look at him, I say. " Last night, what about last night?"
I open both my eyes, to see him frown at me." Bea, you know what I'm talking about." He whines.
" Do I, really?" I know that I must be annoying him right now, but I'm having such a nice time teasing him.
" Ha." He sighs. "Fine, we won't talk." He declares.
" Fine by me." I say in almost a sing song tone, pulling my eyes away from him.
A minute of silence passes.
Looking elsewhere, I hear him say," you have to say something"
Feeling a little smug inside, I respond." It hasn't even been 5 minutes."
" You will talk to me." He says determined and now I find it so hard to suppress a grin, but somehow I manage to.
" What makes you so sure?"
" Because I recall you telling me that you aren't stone cold," he says smugly.
Oh he is throwing my words back at me. Traitor.
" You know that we are talking now." I mention.
" No, there's talking, and then there's us talking, there's a difference." He points.
"Uh huh." I say, rolling my eyes.
A moment of silence passes with us looking at each other, I can sense that moment from the rooftop resurfacing now.
I decide to sit upright. "I remember once that I went bald, getting stuck with the name baldy in my early years."
I smirk at him." I bet it was one of your crazy experiments."
" Nope, an innocent mistake which cost me big."
I frown in curiosity now and he smirks at me before he continues." Well you know as a kid when your parent tells you to not touch the hot stove? "
" Cause you'll get burnt." I finish for him." Wait, you burnt your hair?" I ask in horror.
" Nope, I'd have burn scars till now."
" Then...."
" I kinda snuck into my parents bathroom and stole a shampoo, only that it wasn't a shampoo, guess I found out too late when my skull burnt."
"Wait." My eyes widen .
" Yep, I had applied no hair on my head and when I wiped it with a towel, my hair was already gone."
I'm already lying on the floor laughing my butt off. I can just imagine the scene and him having a bald head.
Finally after some time, I control my laugh. When I peek a look at him, I find him smirking at me. " Laugh at me all you want, but I looked good." He defends himself, a grin on his face.
