NOW YOU SEE ME.

Chapter 35.

Miami.

Everything here is so big and alive.

I can feel the fresh air for the first real time, both excitement and fear reigns in me of what to expect, I can only hope and accept whatever it is I receive, once I get there.

The sight of the sea gives me a sense of adventure, a feel of freedom and just room for a long take of breath. The buildings, people and the beautiful moments that people share here. I just love how everyone might seem to be minding their own business yet the way they are doing it , shows how free and alive they are, that's what I want, to feel this sense of no care for the world but enjoy every moment like it's my last.

It's so amazing how I've always wanted this, to travel and to have a sense of control over my life yet do something crazy at the same time. It's so surreal how a moment like this can be so precious yet so scary at the same time, truly nothing is impossible when you put your mind to it, especially your heart.

"We're almost there." Travis, Fiona's brother says.

Oh forgot to mention, Fiona had her brother help us out.

I nod before looking out the window.

The street is surely quiet and clean, looks like those close knit communities, seeing as the neighbours are conversing in good conversations, kids riding their bikes and well the young adults either hanging out with friends or alone, but what seems to be a stand out is the houses, quite big might I add.

Just deep in thought, I feel the car pull to a stop and that's when reality hits me.

" We're here." Travis says, looking at me.

I fiddle with my fingers feeling all nervous again, I mean while still travelling, the excitement was beyond me and now that I'm here, nerves have taken control of any of that excitement.

The worst part of it all is that no one knows I'm here. Vicky, mom, Doctor Anthon and of course Connor, the one I've come to see and hope he'll be happy to see me. I don't know how I'll explain my escape to him though.

Well I'll deal with that when I get there.

" Okay....." I say more to myself.

" Are you sure about this?" He asks me, with a look of concern.

Gosh I don't need him to be looking at me like this too or I might start doubting myself and double thinking. No I cant, I'm here now. Where I have been wanting to be for a long time.

His phone suddenly rings, saving me from answering." It's Fi." He tells me before he answers and puts it on speaker.

" Are you'll there yet?" She asks.

" Yes we are, though we haven't actually gone inside." He makes it sound like both of us are going in.

" Bailey, you're there now, make that count and don't you dare chicken out!" She warns me.

" Are you sure you didn't bug this car?" I ask, looking around the car.

I hear a chuckle at the end of the line and smile a bit. " Well now that you mention it....." She trails off and I just roll my eyes.

" I should really report you for stalking." This makes Travis to snicker while Fiona takes a dramatic gasp.

" You're mean!"

" I like to think other wise." I shoot back.

" Okay, okay. On a serious note, don't doubt yourself now, it's time and I wish you well."

" Thank you." I say .

" Okay, someone's coming, bye guys and I want updates and details and all that stuff." She quicklu says before hanging up.
