Draco's POV
"Deep breath, Draco," Blaise said, then he shoved me into potions class.
Professor Slughorn had come back from his 'vacation' and was teaching again.
I tried sitting next to Hermione, but Slughorn don't let me.
"Your proper seat, Draco," he smiled.I looked at Hermione most of the lesson. She was wearing her uniform. Her skirt went down to her knees and she paired it with red flats that matched her tie.
Her hair was freshly washed, still wet. She didn't have much make up on. Her lips had a pale pink shine to them.
At one point she looked at me. I turned around, deeply embarrassed that she has caught me looking at her.
Class droned on and on. When it was over I tried to grab Hermione on the shoulder but she was gone already. Then she came back, as if pushed, into the classroom.
"Her-Hermione?" I fumbled. I sounded stupid. What would Granger, the girl who helped save the world, be doing with someone who was doing the opposite.?
"Yes?" She said politely, pulling fuzz balls off her shirt.
"Will you," I gulped. What if she hates me? What made me think I could do this?
"ComewithmetotheYuleBall?" I mumbled. I felt my face flush. This was terrible. Instead of the 'NO' I expected she brightened, and said yes. I rushed out of there as fast as possible. Now I knew she liked me. But, besides Blaise, how would everyone else take it?"DRACO!" She yelled after me. This was a mistake. People would see me at the ball...it was two weeks away...would that be enough time to make everyone 'ok' with us?
