Draco's POV

Back in the Sytherin common room I sat in front of the fire place, the only area where it was warm besides curling up in bed.

How could I have ALMOST kissed her? I should have just grabbed her and kissed her. No, I should have been mean, or people would look at us weird.
I really need to clear my head.
I headed to the prefects bathroom on the third floor. I wasn't REALLY supposed to be there, I wasn't head boy, prefect, or Quidditch captin, so I just snuck in and slammed the door. I heard a squeal. I turn around to see eyes looking at me from in the bath. Brown eyes with a mass of brown hair on her head. Granger.
There were enough bubbles that I couldn't really see anything, so I guess that was good, as it was less awkward.
"Get out of here Malfoy," she hissed at me, snatching the towel from the floor and dragging it closer. Hermione dunked lower and lower. A few bubbles popped in that area and she moved backwards, dragging her towel in, getting it soaking wet.
I didn't know what to do really. I knew I should get out of there. Before it got ugly. Or...should I leave. Maybe we could talk now that I was a threat.
But that wouldn't make her like me.
'What the heck, Draco, you don't want her to like you, you want her embarrassed, mad, and scared,' my head told me.

"GET OUT!!!" Hermione yelled. She had wrapped the towel around herself.
"Can we talk?" I asked her politely.
"While I'm naked in a towel? Oh sure Draco, why don't you just get in the water too? Get the heck out of here," she sounded really ticked off, so I left.

Her wet hair was so much darker than it was when it was dry. Her shoulders looked soft and shiny and through the bubbles I could see the shadow of her body, and she was very small, underneath that frumpy clothes.

I went to bed thinking about her, and I knew that clearing my mind of her was not an option. I had fallen in love with Hermione Granger.
