PAGKARATING ni Mae sa shop... walang emergency. Trisha is in the counter doing some auditing and Steven is also there with flowers and chocolates on hand.
STEVEN: Babe! You really came!
TRISHA: Pasensya na Mae. Ang kulit eh. Ayaw akong tantanan. Sorry kung naistorbo ko ang date niyo ni Jace.
STEVEN: You're with Jace?
MAE: You called me for this?!
STEVEN: Hey, don't blame her. It's my fault. I really wanna see you.
MAE: Oh crap!
STEVEN: Here.
Sabay lahad ng bulaklak at chocolates sa kanya.
MAE: Ano toh? Suhol?
STEVEN: It's my expression of love for you.
MAE: Oh God Lord!
TRISHA: Sweet.
MAE: Cut that cheese part ok? What do you really want Steve?
STEVEN: Date.
MAE: I'm busy.
STEVEN: No. You're not. Trisha said she's gonna take care of the work. Right Trish?
Sinabayan pa nito iyon ng kindat.
TRISHA: Oh sure!
MAE: Trish!
TRISHA: Gora na. Time is running.
Mae has no choice dahil pinagtabuyan na siya ng kaibigan. On the other hand, she's thankful to Trish dahil na save by the bell siya nito kanina. Palabas na sila ni Steven ng shop ng makita si Jace na nasa pintuan ng shop.
MAE: Jace?
STEVEN: Hey Jace!
JACE: I rushed to follow you here cause I thought something happened..
STEVEN: That's a prank. I wanted to see Mae so bad, and she rushed back here.
JACE: Uhm, well I.. over reacted. So, seems everything is fine.
STEVEN: Yup. Paalis na nga kami eh. Were on date.
JACE: Oh. I see. Well, goodluck for the 2 of you. I gotta go too.
STEVEN: Alright.
JACE: Bye.
Ngumiti lang si Mae. Tahimik lang siya habang pinagmamasdan si Jace. Ino-obserbahan kung anong magiging reaction nito kapag nalamang nagde-date na sila ni Steven. She hope that there's some jealousy in his eyes. But there's nothing there. Just the casual Jace. And she hates herself for assuming that. Gusto niyang magselos ito. Gusto niyang magtampo ito. Pero hinde. There's no reason for that.
STEVEN: I just realized why you can't love me the way I love you..
Nasa loob sila ng kotse ni Steven at pauwi na. Tahimik si Mae sa buong duration ng date nila ni Steven. Halos si Steven lang ang nagsasalita. Tumatango lamang si Mae. Para bang nandun siya pero wala talaga siya duon. Lumilipad ang isip niya. Hindi maalis sa isip niya si Jace. Si Jace na malamang si Rachel ang laman ng utak.
