Nadatnan ni Jace na nagriring ang telepono niya pagkauwi niya ng apartment. Agad niyang sinagot iyon dahil alam niyang long distance call yun. Naupo siya sa couch at pinatong ang paa sa coffee table sa harap nun.
JACE: Yes hon?
RACHEL: How's the party?
JACE: Well, Lisa and Peter are getting married.
RACHEL: Really?! Wow. Im so happy for them.
JACE: Yeah. Dun din naman talaga ang tuloy nila. So, hows your day? I really damn miss you.
RACHEL: Yeah. Thats a sure thing. Oh well, as usual I'm pretty worked up. But you know, I still find time for my baby 'cause I miss him too.
JACE: Ikaw kasi, kung di mo ko iniwan eh di sana..
RACHEL: Ikaw kaya itong nang taboy sa kin. oh di nagsisisi ka ngayon.
JACE: Nope. I'll never regret letting you go. Because I know you love your work and i dont wanna get that away from you.
RACHEL: Uhhh. You're making me cry. Thats why I love you so much.
JACE: I love you too. Oh darn, I wanna kiss you.
RACHEL: Hahaha. Me too!
JACE: Oh yeah, you have a brother right? Is he single?
RACHEL: Yeah, I dont know eh. He's not that open to me about his relationships. Why'd you asked? OMG! Dont tell me your starting to doubt your sexuality?
JACE: Oh c'mon! I'm looking for single men for Mae. She's kinda depressed about not having lovelife and she forced me to promise her that im gonna be in charge of her blind dates. Can you imagine that..
RACHEL: Hahaha! Now thats a good friend! Well, Im gonna ask Steven then. Nakakapagtaka namang wala pang naging boyfriend si Mae.
JACE: She's a perfectionist you know. Everything has to be perfect. She has high standards for men.
RACHEL: You can't blame her. That's who she is.
JACE: Kung di ko lang siya kaibigan..
RACHEL: Better be good on your task. hahaha. Anyway, I gotta go. May gagawin pa ko. Take a rest now. I love you hon.
JACE: I love you too. Take care of your self. Bye.
Pagkababa ng telepono ay nahiga sa sofa si Jace at hindi namalayang nakatulog na pala siya.
Jace and Rachel has been couples for years now. They've started in college. Totorpe torpe pa nuon si Jace kaya to the rescue ang kaibigan niyang si Mae. Tinulungan niya ito mula sa panliligaw, love letters, dates and proposals. Partners in everything nga eh. Without Mae, Jace could not be with Rachel now. And now he's returning the favor.
Rachel that time was moving on from fresh break-up. At tinulungan siya ni Jace na makalimutan ang walang kwenta niyang ex. Jace is sweet and caring. He might not look like it but he does. He looks tough on the outer but he's so soft hearted. He'll do anything for her. Rachel knows that being away from each other is a huge sacrifice in their relationship. But Jace has been very understanding and he let her make her dreams come true. She's a succesful fashion designer now. She has her own brand of clothing line and a boutique in New York. She's contented and she couldn't ask for more.
