27: Friends in Le Bouveret

"Saan tayo? Akala ko ba mag uusap tayo?"

Nagtaka ako when Dustin started driving on the other side of the town. Uphill na ang daan at medyo malubak kaya medyo nag aalala ako para sa maganda niyang sasakyan.

He took a glance at me and smiled at me, "to one of my favorite places."

We suddenly stopped. Namangha nalang ako when I realized that we stopped in a restaurant up the hill.

Nilibot ko ang tingin ko sa buong view nang makababa ako sa sasakyan. Gabi na kaya tanging ilaw mula sa buwan at mga ilaw sa village lang ang matatanaw.

"Auf diese weise, Sir" the waitress said and guide us to the table in the terrace.

"Danke," Dustin and I said in unison nang makaupo kami. We sat across each other.

"I'll take what you have nalang ha, hindi ko kasi alam ano kakainin ko ngayon eh," I told him nang tumingin na siya sa menu.

He chuckled and nodded. "We'll have saffron risotto and the Bernese platter, please. Two of each," he said to the waitress.

I looked again at the village lights. "Ang ganda siguro dito 'no pag umaga" I said to Dustin nang tignan ko siya.

Ngumiti siya at napatingin din sa view then looked at me again. "I was gonna take you earlier but your secretary said you were with Mr. Torres."

I giggled and nodded. "Yeah, I was and it was really fun!" I gladly said. Kwinento ko sa kanya kung gaano ako nagandahan sa mga nakita ko at sa mga nangyari kanina but when I realized that I was talking too much napatigil ako. "Sorry, ang daldal ko" nahihiya pa akong natawa.

He chuckled, "it's okay" nakangiti niyang sabi. Nakatitig pa din siya sa akin habang nakangiti, "you sound happy."
