- 10 years later -

"Should we go support mummy?" I ask the baby growing in my belly while I get dressed.

"Are you talking to your stomach again" Ash laughs at me coming into mine and Julies room

"I am thank you very much, when you and Ali have a kid you'll be exactly the same, trust me," I say as I slip on Julies Jersey.

"come on you, we need to go support our wives," Ash says smiling at me as we walk out the house and to the stadium they are playing at.

Ash lived with me for almost 5 years, both of us taking the last year of high school again since she dropped out an I missed half of it but then we both decide to go to University together and stay at home with mum and dad.

I got a degree in criminal justice and I've worked my way up to become a head detective of my police department. A few of the girls like Julie, Ali, Alex, Mal, Kelley and Tobin all pursued their dreams of playing soccer professionally and made it into team USA. Unfortunately for Ash and Carli, they couldn't play due to what the place had done to them, no one could know they had abilities.

Tobin and Christen got married a couple of years back waiting forever to finally tie the knot even though everyone knew they were smitten.

Hope and Carli got married too and adopted a little girl named Eliza who seems to be the exact same person and Hope which freaked us all out.

The youngsters all went on to have successful careers, and Sonnett actually ended up joining me in the police department which is nice.

Becky and Alyssa finally opened up that book store that they used to always talk about together, they live a quiet simple life but it's perfect for them.

The others drifted off to different parts of the world but we all make sure to meet up yearly and have a big holiday together making sure to catch everyone up on our lives.

However, today is special because everyone has managed to clear their schedules and watch some of the girls play against the Netherlands in the World Cup final.

We arrive at the stadium and I hold my 8-month-old belly in my hands as we walk through the building and to the family and friends section we have.

I say hello to everyone here, hugging the familiar faces that I haven't seen in a while and sit down ready to watch my baby kick some butt in this world cup match.

The final whistle blows and we all jump up in celebrations as the girls have just won 2-0, making them 4-time world cup champions.

I spot Julie jogging over to me so I lean a little over the ledge and kiss her deeply on this lips

"I'm so proud of you babe! You did amazing" I say holding her face

"Thank you! how are you and the little one" She says looking down at my belly

"We are perfect, he's definitely happy you won" I say as I feel a kick in my stomach.

"I'll see you in a bit okay?" Julie says giving me one last kiss before she runs off to her teammates.

It's hard to think that it's been almost a decade since that day and we are all living the lives we dreamed of having. All of us finally happy and content with the life we've been given.

Maybe we did get the fairytale ending after all.
