Liz got pushed inside, falling onto the cold floorboards in the process. She scowled back at the snatcher behind her before standing up again. He grabbed ahold of her again and pulled him closer as his arms held hers back. She could already feel the bruises forming onto her fragile arms.

They were led into the wide space they called the living room, dark furniture, tall bookcases and expensive chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Everything looked bigger from what Liz could remember.

They were lined up when suddenly the doors were pushed open and the Malfoys walked inside. Liz' heart dropped when her eyes instantly came in contact with his. Both their faces lost all its colour at the sight of each other. They hadn't seen each other in months, they had missed each other so much.

If it were up to them they'd crash into each other's arms but it wasn't meant to be. The tears had already flooded from Liz' eyes, she didn't even try to stop it.

Draco had to force himself not to look at the beautiful Diggory girl or she'd possibly get hurt and that couldn't happen. But he couldn't understand what she was doing there or why she was with those filthy Gryffindors.

The task to not look at her was nearly impossible as she was like a magnet to his eyes. Even though her clothes were out worn, her face was covered in dirt and she looked extremely thin, she was beautiful.

Draco's parents were aware of Liz' presence and were shocked to find out she hung out with those sorts. They glared at her with disgusted faces.

"Well, is it him?" Bellatrix asked with a devilish grin on her face. Liz' eyes were pleading for Draco not to tell her.

"I can't be sure." Draco said, nervously stepping closer. His father was right behind him and hissed desperately "Draco, look closely son. If we were the ones to hand Potter over to the dark lord, everything will be forgiven."

"Now, we won't be forgetting who caught them, I hope, mister Malfoy."

"How dare you talk to me like that in my own house?" Lucius Malfoy shouted before being pulled away by his wife.

Liz winched at his high volume only for the snatcher to tighten his grip around her arms, nearly breaking her bones.

"Don't be shy, come over." Bellatrix grabbed Draco's hand and pulled him closer. Draco kneeled down in front of Harry and examined his face nervously. "We need to be absolutely sure."

"What's wrong with his face?"

"Yes, what is wrong with his face?"

"He came to us like that, something he picked up in the forest I reckon."

"Or a jinx? Was it you dear?" Bellatrix questioned pointing her wand at Hermione. She walked closer to the two brunette girls and the redhead boy. "Or you?" she whispered leaning close to Liz' ear.

"Give me their wands, we'll see what their last spell was."

Draco furrowed his eyebrows as he saw the female death eater walking closer to Liz. Bellatrix giggled in amusement until she gasped at the sight of a sword.

"What's that? Where did you get that from?!"

"It was in her bag when we searched her, reckon it's mine now—"

Bellatrix's hatred got the best of her as she shot jinxes at the snatchers, wrapping ropes around their necks and pulling them closer as they gasped for air. Liz was pushed onto the ground and hit her head on the hard floor.

"Get out!" Bellatrix demanded only for the snatchers to do just that.

Liz held her hand against her head and grunted as Hermione helped her back up. Draco looked at her with concern and was about to step towards her when his father held him back.

"Put the boys in the cellar, I'm going to have a conversation with these two. Girl to girl." Bellatrix smirked as her eyes moved between the two brunettes.

She pulled Hermione with her and pushed her onto the ground with much force. Liz stepped forwards wanting to help Hermione when Bellatrix shot a spell at her making it impossible for her to move as her feet got stuck to the floor.

"I'm saving you for later, traitor." she spat at Liz before turning her attention back on Hermione. Draco's watery eyes were plastered on Liz' frightened face but Lucius held him back, threatening to kill Liz if he moved.

"That sword is meant to be at my vault, where did you get it? Did you take it from my vault?!" Bellatrix leaned over Hermione, holding a knife in her hand she threatened to use. Hermione cried and shook her head in fear "I didn't take anything, please, I didn't take anything."

Hermione's screams of pain filled the room when Bellatrix cut into her wrist, carving letters into her skin. Liz closed her eyes wanting it to stop. Her pale cheeks were wet with tears.

When she opened her eyes again she pleaded for Bellatrix to stop. "Stop it! Please, just stop it!"

"You're friends with this mudblood? I hate traitors even more than I hate mudbloods." Bellatrix scowled. Hermione let out one more chilling scream as Bellatrix cut the last part of her wrist.

The female death eater jumped up and ran towards Liz, grabbing her by the throat and pushing her against the wall. Liz gasped for air as Bellatrix her fingers pressed tightly into her neck.

"P-Please—" she begged but her voice was barely audible. Bellatrix pushed her fragile body onto the ground. Liz swore she heard one of her ribs break right at that moment and the pain shooting through her body didn't tell her otherwise.

"Crucio!" Bellatrix shot at Liz. Liz clutched her arms to her chest as she cried in pain. It was as if her entire body was on fire and her bones were being crushed all at once.

Bellatrix smirked seeing the girl in pain and climbed on top of her as she held her knife against Liz' throat.

"Stop!" Draco shouted. Suddenly the entire room was silent and all eyes shot to Draco in shock.

"Draco, what are you—" his mother began but was cut off by Draco himself. "T-The goblin might know how she got the sword."

Bellatrix moved her eyes confusedly towards the small goblin walking inside. She jumped up and began the interrogation, leaving Liz alone. Liz inhaled sharply when someone scooped her up into their arms. The pain in her ribs was nearly unbearable.

She glanced over at Hermione laying on the ground, blood gushing from her wrist. Her heart broke at the sight of it and tears rushed from her eyes.

Before she could even look to see who carried her she lost consciousness and fell into a deep slumber.
