Sung TeoJan. The bastard Taehyung never took care of. The realization hit Taehyung like a truck.

Taehyung and his gang hadn't had time to kill of TeoJan and his minions during the whole 'there's another gang here and someone called the cops' ordeal. And after that, Taehyung was blinded by his determination to find Jungkook.

Oh, and to make things worse—TeoJan, Taehyung found, owned and ran a very powerful underground human-trafficking and human trade operation.

And now here he was. Keeping Taehyung captive. Karma really is a bitch, isn't it?

"I hope you like the taste of defeat, Kim." TeoJan continued, "How does it feel? Hm? To be helpless?"

Not that great. Taehyung thought to himself. The gross older man's pulled a chair in front of wear Taehyung was laying. The man with advantage motioned to someone behind him and then pointed at Taehyung.

"Sit him up. I want him to look me while I'm speaking to him." TeoJan growled. Hurried steps were heard and, still in a haze, Taehyung was grabbed harshly by the arms and rudely sat up, back pushed against a wall that had been behind him.

Taehyung winced as the person's grip dug into his wounds, but didn't give TeoJan the pleasure of getting a cry out of him. Not even a whimper. No matter how much it hurt.

He didn't look at TeoJan. Knowing that he wanted him to.

A second passed, and it was just TeoJan staring at Taehyung. TeoJan staring at Taehyung, TeoJan staring at Taehyung, TeoJan staring at—

"Look at me!" The club owner boomed, a unnecessary harsh, stinging slap bit across Taehyung's right cheek. The hand was ruff, and unkept fingernails sliced semi-deep scratches in Taehyung's soft skin.

It hurt. It really did. Taehyung wanted to scream, cry out, or even just mewl. But he wouldn't give TeoJan the satisfaction. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever. No matter how hard he hit him or how horrible it got.

He would never.

But—to save himself from any unnecessary pain, he looked at TeoJan. Taehyung's eyes narrowed, sharp and hateful, met TeoJan's tense, wrathful, and malicious gaze.

They stared at each other in angry silence for a few seconds before TeoJan spoke again. "So you like to disobey, huh?"

Taehyung wanted to scoff. What am I? A child? Who does this guy think he is? He dissed mentally.

Taehyung didn't respond in any way.

"Well, we'll see about that." TeoJan glared manically. The man stood up and pushed the chair away. He looked down at Taehyung but spoke to someone else.

"Have at it boys. You have half-an-hour. Just don't kill him, we need need him alive for ransom."

Oh god. Taehyung panicked. He was afraid. Panic bubbling inside of him as he saw four men emerge from the darkness of the room, walking towards him.

Taehyung might seem all high-and-mighty, but he was still human. He still held fear and panic. Just—rarely.

But oh boy did he feel them now. He was tied up. He couldn't break from the zip-ties due to them being behind his back and his weak state. He could kick, but it's not like that would do much.
