Jungkook doesn't even stop SeokJin when he is being dragged by him again. He barely feels being grabbed, and barely hears the older yelling how 'they need to get out of there before the firefighters and police get there.'
Jungkook is consumed by the complete numbness that washes and takes over every muscle and nerve in his body. Leaving him emotionless and blank.
The next thing he knows he is being put into the car he came in, and then the car is speeding away. He hears faint cries, no doubt HyeJin's, and the sounds of the members talking—although, the sounds fade soon enough.
Jungkook finds himself staring out side of the window next to him blankly.
Taehyung was most definitely dead—and Jungkook felt his heart ache and burst into a million pieces. But no tears prickle his eyes, his emotional state crushed and not giving any signs of future emotions.
He's completely numb. He can't feel his fingers or his face. His blinking pattern is slow and his muscles motionless.
He watches the trees pass by him as they speed down the long, winding road. Farther and farther from Taehyung.
Before Jungkook knows, he is at his home. He is in his in his shower, letting the water flow down his motionless body.
Jungkook recalls all of the time he spent with Taehyung. He remembers how they spent a long while together, though he didn't mention it much. Their time wasn't much—barely over a month...but the times they spent together meant more now to Jungkook than anything else.
Flashes of those times spent with the older run by over and over in his head as he closes his eyes and reminisced.
