Oh my oh my.
Xoxo,
Enjoy.
-One more day and it would be a week. One more day and their debt would be unpaid—late. One more day and Taehyung would pay the price if they didn't. It was nerve wracking, though they would never admit it, that they could very well be heading into their very demise. That this could cost them everything they've worked for.
But even then, they wouldn't back down. Not now. Not when they had come this far.
The Demise and Kill Squad had worked for three full nights to gain back every penny they needed. And more—for good measure. They hoped that maybe that would win TeoJan and his greed over.
That maybe, they would let Taehyung go without a fight.
So there they stood—all men from both gangs, with the exception of HyeJin, at the entrance to a large manor.
The said manor was quite hard to find, as it was quiet literally in the middle of nowhere. Deep in the forests of Gangwon—almost three hours away, and where no service connected, laid a dark and elegant looking manor.
How convenient that it was built so deep in an unknown territory.
Jimin and Yoongi grabbed the black duffle-bags of money and walked up to the two large oak front doors.
No one moved to rap on the door.
"Who's going to knock?" Hoseok spoke lightly, swallowing have fear that rose in his throat.
Some shrugged, others sighed. No body wanted to knock. But somebody had to.
Silence—until Jungkook sighed, vexed.
"My god, we are wasting time." The young leader growled. To say Jungkook was stressed was a understatement. He hadn't been sleeping well—that is, if he did sleep. This was because every time he did, he would have horrid nightmares of what might be happening to Taehyung.
He would wake up in a cold sweat, panicked and filled to the brim with self hatred. He knew he played a large part in Taehyung's current state, and he couldn't help but wrack his brain on if there was something—anything—he could have done to avoid this.
The fear that Taehyung would die alone in god knows what kind of conditions chilled Jungkook to the bone. The fear that he would die without knowing what he meant to Jungkook.
The fear that never again would Jungkook see Taehyung's beautiful golden skin shine under the coral sunset of Gangwon again. That he would never be able to get lost in the older's beautiful and dark puppy-dog eyes again. That he would never feel the vibrations of Taehyung's smooth velvet voice rattle through his body.
He couldn't let that happen. So, needless to say, he wasn't going to waste anymore time then they already had.
Jungkook moves to the front of the group and took the lightly-heavy metal ring connected to the oak entry block in his hand and rapped it down on the oak a couple of times. He stood straight, his face expression was blank and cold.
He was strong. He had to be.
"Don't believe anything they say." NamJoon softly informed the members around him, "Don't let them see through you. You are cold and heartless, don't hesitate to get violent if they get violent. Otherwise—keep calm. We are here to get Taehyung, and pay he debt—nothing more. Follow mine and Jungkook's lead."
