My leg had sparks where his hand rested, I could tell he felt them too because when they started he almost pulled away but decided not to. It felt comforting, with his I felt better like my heart wasn't so hurt in that moment. "Want to go somewhere fun?" He looked over at me and smiled sheepishly. I shot him back a little smile on my own, happy he didn't pry into what just happened. "Yes, that would be great. I need a distraction." He grabbed my hand and the spot on my leg he let go suddenly felt empty. What was that about? We drove for about an hour before we go to what looked like a boardwalk. He parked his car in a parking lot at the end of a store front street. I still didn't understand how his doors worked and I was afraid to brake them. So he came over and opened it up for me. "Sorry I just don't want to break your doors." He grinned at me. "Honestly I'm happy you don't touch the door, that's my job to open it and close it for you."

He grabbed my hand as we walked down the street towards to boardwalk. We passed shops with shirts for tourist, a cute candy shop with taffy being stretched in the window. I of course stopped to watch it, Jaxx looked amused at my astonishment. "Want to go in? Maybe get some candy?" I smiled and shook my head immediately. He laughed and opened the door for me. "Princess." He said as he bowed and looked up at me waiting for me to answer. I giggled. "Thank you my prince." I said as I bowed as well. When I went to walk past he laid a kiss on my cheek and the older couples that were near us giggled and kept mentioning how cute we were. He walked up to the girl behind the counter, she looked about our age. She sent a flirty smile to Jaxx when he looked at her. I'm not sure why I didn't like it but I didn't. I walked up next to him and grabbed his arm, Just to show that he was here with me. He looked down at me and smiled. "Well hello there, how much for some of that fresh salt water taffy turning in the window?" She scoffed at me. "$6.99 a pound." She went back to popping her gum and reading her issue of 17 magazine. This time I spoke up. "We will take a pound please." She sighed and got up to go retrieve it for us.

I heard Jaxx laugh at me. "Someone jealous of the counter girl?" I shifted back and forth on my two legs nervously, I have no idea what went through my head. "Tuh, noooo." He giggled and pulled me into his side closer. I snuggled in happily while he paid the girl and handed me the bag of taffy. When we got outside I couldn't wait any longer. I tore into the bag and grabbed a piece of the fresh taffy and bit into it. The taste was like nothing I've ever had before, sweet but with a hint of salt. I could eat this whole bag to myself. "Princess can I get a piece?" He giggled down at me. I looked between him and the bag, I mean I guess he deserved some he did buy it for me. I help the bag up for him to grab a piece for himself. "It's so good you have to try it!" I was so excited. He laughed at me and took a hefty piece for himself. He popped it into his mouth happily. "Wow, I think your right. We might have to go back and get more for you before we go home." He smiled and I nodded my head happily.

We finally got to the boardwalk and there was a man drawling a crowd over to him. I heard his calls over the conversations going on around us. "Come one come all to this tragic affair." I looked up at Jaxx, with a grin on my face. "This is one of my favorite songs!" He looked down at me confused. "It's a my chemical romance song! I love them so much!" He looked at me confused. "I have never heard of them." I stopped dead in my tracks. "What! What planet have you been living on? We have to go check him out now he's quoting my favorite band." I dragged him over to the man. Around him he had a bunch of random stuff. He had a step stole, a ladder, a big exercise ball, three bowling pins, 6 knives, two torches, a stuffed animal, and a hula-hoop. "Welcome one welcome all! My name is Bartholomew, and I am here to entertain you all today." He gave a wave over the objects placed around him. I felt Jaxx lean into my ear. "Princess we should go, I don't like the feeling I'm getting from this guy." I looked up at him, a little confused. What was wrong with him? This guy was great! "Are you sure, because I think it's going to be a really good show." He was staring intently at this guy when he answered me, he didn't even look down. "Yes, I'm sure. Can we please go?" His hand tightened around my waist, I could feel the tension in his arms. I turned around and grabbed his hand. "Come on Jaxx, we can go."
