An hour or two later, Natasha tracked down the farmland of this 'Kevin Tomlinson' that Molly had gotten for her.
On the ride over, she took the time to reflect on everything and especially Micah. She was concerned to him, she had noticed that he started to become more agitated, that much was obvious to her, but the way his eyes pleaded her.... it didn't make sense. Before they really spoke, she would always here him sucking up to Dutch and declaring that loyalty matters but that changed quickly once she became involved and a triangle was formed. Without a doubt, she would have still picked Micah over Dutch but it occurred to her that Micah didn't seem to be the kind of man to beg someone. He would have never begged for his life if he was about to get shot, he would most likely urge them on to do it to show that he wasn't a coward but in those conflicting moments with her, she saw the desperation spiral out of him like wildfire.
Pulling out her pocket watch seeing the time strike, pleasantly, at exactly eighteen hundred hours, she dismounted her horse, hitching the mare up to a nearby tree as she made her way over.
The place itself looked deserted, very little crops growing in the fields nor was there any farm life. The night was darkening and she assumed that the man had gone back into his shack where the light were off. In front of her was a large barn however, a pig farm by the smell and looks of it.
She pulled on her bandana, covering her mouth and nose as she crouched down low, carefully treading underneath the window as she made her way up to the large barn. She pushed the door open with the back of her heel, listening for any voices but nothing was heard.
Ducking inside, she was met with the foul stench and sight of deceased pigs, hung up by their feet, their stomachs having been gutted. There was around five in a row, their blood having pooled together into a troth underneath, the red substance looking sickly and old.
She was glad that her nose and mouth was covered, the stench being unbearable.
"Right, where's this cash then?" She muttered as she moved around the barn, her hands rummaging through haystacks, along the work bench, in seed bags but there was no luck. She walked inside the fenced pens, kicking the straw on the floor around for any latch that may lead to an underground passage but there was none.
Molly, although her intentions seemed good, had led her to a dead end. She should've guessed that there was not a lot happening just by the sight of the farm itself. It was run down; the crops were dead and the pigs hanged up were decayed.
"Typical." She grunted, slightly frustrated that she came all the way down there to bring nothing back in return. She pulled off her hat, wiping the sweat of her brow from her frantic look around, slightly out of breath from the very quick adventure.
Placing her hat back on her head, she turned around and walked towards the large barn doors, pushing the left door open slightly and stepping out.
As she did, her gaze landed on two men in front of her, their uniforms neat and tidy, trilby hats on their heads and rifles in their grasps.
"Rosie May..." a man spoke out as he emerged from the back, his moustache large and prominent on his face. The three men stared down at her, two waiting patiently for their order.
Natasha gulped and back up slowly, her back hitting against the door as she stared down the barrels of the guns aimed at her. Her eyes flicked with fear, staring to the man as he spoke, recognising him instantly as Agent Ross.
"Or should I say... Natasha Fiore?" He smirked as he slowly lifted his revolver from him his holster, aiming towards her stomach.
In a quick attempt to escape, Natasha pushes back harshly on the door the barn engulfing her back inside as shots are open fired on her as she moved rapidly.
