Rani looked at Sira. She had invited him to Pratibimba. It was finally time for the big moment. She had talked to Baliyo, the exchange going decently well. He had encouraged her to go ahead with it.
"What is it that our parents would say?" he had said. "'Follow your heart' or something like that. Trust me, Sis, you know what you're doing."
Rani took a deep breath.
"We work well together, don't we?" she asked.
"We do," Sira said. "I mean, I don't think I'd want anyone else by my side. You're the best lioness I could hope for."
