okay maybe roleswap is a bad way of wording this and it actuallt has nothing to do wirh the plot of touch-tone telephone outside of Adhd Connection Logic that would be tricky to explain but!! Base Ick Lee carlos is our protagonist instead of cecil??? like its still the audio format but its an audio log voice memo type thing of carlos's findings on the town!! cant decide if it would be somehow broadcasted or not,, idk but anyway it follows a similar idea of reporting on the happenings of nighr vale BUT because carlos and cecil's personalities and perspectives differ strongly it would be a lot different in how its conveyed!! also maybe the plot would be different? like im feeling like it starts roughly the same as wtnv but branches off!! like- carlos is more Centric, plus other things just happen differently?? minor things change and that leads to a wholly different plotline!! im iffy on how cecil's role would chaaange, like maybe hes still the radio host and the voice in the same way he is in wtnv, maybe hes a reporter of some kind and there is no voice, maybe cecil is smth else and carlos is a voice equivalent of some kind!!!!!! theres nothing i can do with this au and none of u will particularly care but im very hyperfocused on this concept rn and i cant write my essay bc of it
