all my hcs for my main fixations are here besides ib//ki because i dont wanna make tessa uncomfortable, tenko because i havent seen v3 so i dont wanna state anything thats contradictory to canon, and michelle nguyen because im tired lmao.

hyperfixations : welcome to night vale, danganronpa (especially v1), sociology, psychology, lemon demon

triggers for rejection sensitive dysphoria : a lot of things, but especially the implication (real or perceived) of being worse than someone else. tendency to misconstrue social cues and assume people are angry and get defensive because of it

how rsd and emotional dysregulation present : exploding into anger, low emotional reaction to some things that ought to induce it and extreme emotional reaction to things that ought not to, frequent lack of emotional facial expression, extreme reaction to unfairness and change (even in fictional contexts)

hypersensitive or hyposensitive?

- visual : neither

- auditory : hyposensitive, but only if the sound is controllable. the opposite is true during sensory overload

- tactile : hypersensitive. touching own skin can be incredibly upsetting, and just thinking ab certain textures can cause panic. exception is a strong need for physical contact that sometimes is socially unacceptable

- olfactory : cant smell for shit but doesnt seek smells so like idfk

- gustatory : hypersensitive

- vestibular : hyposensitive

other mental illnesses : obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and depression. considered for a psychotic disorder, but due to being on an antipsychotic for ocd anyway this was never pursued
